Good morning my lovelies!
Well, today is officially my last day of being preggers and, going off the way I feel, it will be my last day being preggers for ever! Watch me crop up on here in a couple of years time though!
As much as I am looking forward to meeting my little boy for the first time, I am starting to fret about going into hospital tomorrow. Having him is one thing but stopping over is another. I would just love it if it worked first time and I could go home in the evening. Fingers crossed!
Have a lovely day everyone and labour vibes for those who need it

Good luck tomorrow Snozberry! Still hoping something might happen for you today so you don't actually have to be induced... but whatever happens I hope it all goes smoothly and it won't be long until you are home with your little boy0 -
Quick question - do any of you ladies already with babies use cold water sterilising (Milton, etc)? I want to get a cold water steriliser, am planning to breast feed but want to have a steriliser in case I need to use a bottle, or for sterilising breast pump parts, etc.
Is there a particular brand you'd recommend? I've looked online at the Mothercare Innosense sterilising unit, or the Boots unit, with Milton tablets.
Thank you!0 -
Good luck Snoz - just think you'll be meeting your lil fella soon!
Mrsj - I used the Tommee Tippee microwave steriliser. It's so easy, you just wash your bottles/dummies/breast pump bits and stick them in the steriliser and whack it in the microwave.
I do have a bottle of Milton somewhere, useful if you want to give anything a quick wipe over or quick clean.

Congratulations BB! Oliver is such a lovely name.
Good luck Snoz - hopefully after keeping you waiting for all this time your little man will be keen to come out to meet you.
I'm having a wee debate with myself this morning, the mums from eldests class are meeting up for coffee this morning as a pre school holidays thing but I am so tired. I was working a long day yesterday and have another one tomorrow and I'm fit for nothing today.
Had to laugh yesterday, was chatting to one of the girls in work, she was saying she's off next week and I told her that would be our last day working together. One of our consultants was standing beside her and asked me where I was going to! Told him I'm off on maternity from next week and he looked shocked!!! I did resist the urge to ask him if he thought I was getting fat.Norn Iron Club member 273:beer:0 -

Clean, new bucket. Milton tablets or fluid. Bung the stuff in, done in 15 minutes and you can leave it for 24 hours. Job's a good 'un."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
I can't wait to not be pregnant, these last couple of weeks have been really hard and they aren't going to get any easier until baby is here. So just taking it one day at a time now and trying to encourage baby along naturally.0
