I had my whooping cough jab last week. It was fine and only gave me a slightly sore arm for a couple of days, but the nurse made the mistake of telling me it's the same one as the baby will get at 8 weeks. I will be in tears when I've got to take a tiny baby to have that horrid needle stuck in it.

Is anyone doing "almost" fathers day? I remember around mothers day there were adverts on the radio for mums to be to get gifts on mothers day but dads seem to have been ignored.

Not that I'm buying him a present anyway but thought I'd ask :rotfl:

I've brought one of these too (the first one - love from the bump) - with a second hand book called 'blokes guide to babies' thought it would be useful

Now joining you on this thread as 24 weeks today Where has the time gone?

Hubby got to see bean kicking last night - think that is probably the best fathers day present i could give him

I have been really productive this afternoon - made 2 batches of cookies (I have put one uncooked batch of dough in the fridge as apparently you can keep it up to 2 weeks!) and 2 of the raspberry and lemon cakes - I might try and upload a piccy when the OH comes home and helps me get the pics off my phone!

Cookies are scrummy - haven't tried the cake yet - but made one also for a relative who is doing all of my ironing as we speak and went out to get me the ingredients - Value lemon curd is still 22p in Tescos:j!

Cake looks very yummy and I hope it brings me the same luck as it did BB!:D

I have bought the OH a fathers day pressie - just incase! (but he's only having it if he's a father by then - otherwise it can wait for his B'Day in July!!!!)

Hi everyone, hope I am in the right place for the next part of my pregnancy.

25+3 today and had my 25 week midwife appt. Totally forgot to ask about the MAT B1 form though.

Loved hearing the heart beat again and my bump got measured for the 1st time today, midwife was happy with the measurement, just 1 cm out which she said was fine.

Booked on for some antenatal courses in August, fits in well as I work in a school so will be on holidays.

Got to book in for my diabetes test in between now and my 28 week midwife appt.

So anyway a big hello to everyone..
