Fingers crossed that something is going to happen for you soon, Dida. My DS was born the day after my plug started to come away, so it could be sooner rather than later.
I doubt the odd drink will have done the baby any harm, MV, so don't feel bad about it. They used to recommend women drink Guinness for the iron back when my Mum was popping babies out!You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.0 -
Ooh, good luck Dida.
urgh, I have a wedding to go to in a month and I can't find anything to wear. Any ideas ladies? Needs to be a size 10/12 and not much more than £20. A lot to ask I know. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
Ooooohhhh fingers crossed Dida! I always knew that you would end up beating me!

Worth having a look on eBay - lots of second hand maternity stuff in reasonable condition, so you might find a bargain.
Or what about a stretchy maxi dress from a cheap high st shop (non maternity)?0 -
That box is a fantastic idea!
Dida, I was in labour within 12 hours of having my show (both times!) so hopefully this is things starting for you.
I'm exhausted tonight, not moving far from the sofa and think I'll be off to bed soon. Not looking forward to long day in work tomorrow - roll on next Thursday for maternity leave!Norn Iron Club member 273:beer:0 -

I'm trying not to worry (and she said not to), but she did tell me off for doing too much generally and said I need to slow down and take it easy..not easy when you have a 2.5 year old and a job!
Has anyone else had the same told to them? She said baby needs to put on a bit more fat and she wants me to go back in 2 weeks for a follow up.
Going for my Whooping Cough jab this evening too.
After my last pregnancy I lost all faith in the growth scans/measurements. DS measured as average throughout my third tri, then before my emergency section the doctor had a feel and said 'its gonna be a big un'. Not long later, my 5.5 lb tiddler came out, the doctor was a bit embarrassed!
So i'm not sure exactly how much they can tell before hand.0 -
Morning everyone!
I hope that everyone (esp Dida) is ok, I asked my OH to take me to the supermarket last night as I am going stir crazy staying in on my own (I just can't face going out on my tod at the min) as I wanted to buy the ingredients for Dida's cookies. Anyhoo, guess what happened to me this morning?? A teeny tiny part of my plug has come away. Maybe, just maybe, the cure for being overdue is wanting to bake chocolate chip cookies!! haha :rotfl:
My back is also really, really sore. I haven't told my OH about the plug btw as it will only worry him. I'll wait until his gets home in 12 hours time.
I'm going to double check my hospital bags today on the off chance that my little un decides that today is the day!

Haha! I am fine thank you (no baby yet though!) - I was sure it was going to be last night for me - I felt terrible - really dizzy, tired and as though I just couldn't get comfy. But nothing.... (luckily as I was really tired - woke up more refreshed today!).
I am defo gonna bake those cookies today - I reckon they are "good vibe" cookies!I have my fingers crossed for you. My OH has gone to work - I told him about the plug thing - but he seemed rather indifferent (I wanted to see some panic I think but I don't think he gets it!).
I am gonna repack my hospital bag - just incase also - I never washed any of the baby clothes in it - nor did I pack any food (I reckoned on the fact that I could cupboard grab on the way out....!!!).
Good luck Snoz - and for the other ladies who are very close x

I bought one of these initially to attend a funeral - and have worn it to several occasions since - it is soooo comfy and they also do other similar dresses - it fitted me from being tiny up until now (huuuuge!) - so you will get lots of wear out of it! I was amazed at the quality for an Ebay item! (and its not as short as it looks!)

oh do you know, I honestly thought that I was going to wake up (lol! did I sleep last night?!) to the news that your little cherub had been born in record timing!
My OH is a pain for fretting about what is going to happen over the next few days. I have already told him that he will be needing the gas and air more than me!0
