    Congrats Lola! And welcome Lauren!

Just realised I've not added myself to the list! Can someone add me please, as I'm on the tablet and the laptops on the blink, and I can't get it to work! Due 20th Sept, and we're team pink. TIA guys.

Lower back really sore today, quite fancy having a bath to ease it off, but scared I might not get myself back out again (and its a long day til DH gets home at 7pm!)

I've not had any physio yet, but got letter through yesterday saying my 1st appointment is at the end of July!! Really hoping they can see me sooner.

    Added you both :)

Rolling onto my knees tends to help me get out the bath - struggle as it is :rotfl:

I decided to have a bath and read for half an hour last night. Checked the time and I'd been reading for an hour and a half and the bath had gone pretty cold - considering the theory that I fell asleep!

My last two appointments (26 + 28 weeks) tiny human has been head down and the last (horrible) midwife told me that 'cause she's like that so early there's a good chance she'll turn and be breach - is there anything in that or is she just terrifying me for the sake of it?

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Both my girls were always head down and stayed that way. Wriggler was head up at 28 weeks but had turned by my last scan at 30 weeks (I'm convinced he's lying sideways today!) Try not to worry xx

My baby was head down and engaged from 28 weeks so I really wouldn't worry, she'll be growing it may be hard for her to go breech now :) or it may not. Just going from experience my baby stayed pretty much in the same position, he turned once and it was really uncomfortable because my left side wasn't used to arms and legs kicking about, it lasted 2 days and he went back round :)

I did think that - I have no idea why she mentioned it, seemed completely unnecessary to me!
  • Congrats on little louie Lola, wow what a quick turn around that was after being 10days over! Tmi coming up, I've got piles :-( no idea how as i wasn't constipated, has anyone had them before and if they are external Will they pretty much disappear on their own? Its really uncomfortable. 37+6

Can I ask those who have had a sweep - is it very painful or just a bit uncomfortable?

    Mrsj x 39 +1

They are uncomfortable and made me say ouch! But saying that they don't take long, I had 3 one of them was more like a tickle the other 2 much more uncomfortable, but nothing to worry about :)

Fab news Lola! :T Lovely name and wow, what a quick labour!

Sweepy vibes Snoz! :D (and good luck to BB - wanna race?!:D)

I've been to see mw - I asked about a sweep and they don't do them until you are 41 weeks!:( I wanted one this Friday. I am only 2/5's engaged which doesn't sound that great to me as I am sure I was that 2 weeks ago! It was hardly worth seeing the mw - blood pressure is fine, urine is fine, baby's HB is fine but I am measuring another 3 cms since 2 weeks ago - seems baby is happy to lie there doing nowt but getting fat!

I am booked in for a sweep next Tuesday and then they will come out to my house if the first doesn't work during the same week to do another so not too bad I don't suppose. Thanks for everyone's advice with that.

I guess I will be bouncing on my "bl00dy gym ball" now like Snoz! I thought I wanted to be a week late but I am now bored; there's only so much cooking and cleaning I am inspired to do! The washing machine has been on overdrive!!!!:D

I had very slight piles forming - but I tell you what helps - moist Andrex loo paper (and bio yogurt - to eat not to sit in or anything:D!) - makes things so much more comfy! It was a godsend! They have gone now thank goodness but give the moist loo paper a go!

I like moist loo roll esp when things are so gross down there! It's good to feel spring time fresh!

Had my sweep and the MW said that it is unlikely to work! I am being induced on Saturday morning.
