When I say the odd, glass of wine, I really do mean very rarely, and only ever half a glass.

Well so far DS has settled well and all is quiet. He is in a cot bed so it is nice and low to the ground. It'll be interesting to see if he stays in there until the morning!

On the NCT website, there's some nursing bras for £1! Various different sizes, I've ordered six bras in three sizes for under £10 :j :money:

Our friend's LO was okay for the first few days, then found the novelty of running around her room and they found she'd fallen asleep on the floor a couple of times, but she settled completely within a couple of weeks.
Apparently Gro-Clocks are brilliant for LOs that still get up too early once they are in a bed.

We have a Gro-Clock, hoping it comes into it's own now as although DS likes it, I don't think he has a clue what is is for! :D

Thank you so much for this! I have some rather uncomfortable ones from Ebay as I refused to spend a fortune on ugly bras! The nice ones always seem to be so expensive! So much appreciated for posting this - am buying 4 pairs :T

Not a problem, got it from another baby board so thought I'd share the bargain!

Dida, what sort of wine did you get? I'm pining for a nice cold glass of wine, but the only alcohol free stuff I've tried has been too sweet for me :( I'm loving Becks Blue alcohol free beer though :) and there's a little bottle of rose waiting for me in the fridge for when this baby is out. It's been there since October, teasing me :o

Hate to say it but I'd have the glass of wine. Just a small one, and not in the first trimester. But after that, sure, I indulged occasionally. TBH, I felt so appalling for the first four months that I didn't want wine, but when I was feeling better, the odd glass (maybe one a week) was a nice treat. Freddie's not a retard or anything so I guess things worked out OK. :D

I'm not even pregnant, but that sentence really doesn't sit right with me.

    Morning everyone!

39+6 today! I have been awake since 5:30am which, unfortunately, has been normal for me since I started my mat leave - grrr! Baby doesn't feel as though he wants to make an appearance today but we shall see what the day has in store for me.

Wowza ... all of this booze talk is making me yearn for a sly drink. I have been really good (or boring!) and had nothing since we found out. I haven't even eaten anything on the list of banned foods. Mind you, I have had the odd sniff of the odd pint that my OH has had but that is it.

Speaking of OH, I have been speaking with him about possible eviction proceedings and he won't entertain the idea of us getting jiggy with it. He said that he doesn't want his little man anywhere near baby's head. Men! lol. Hot curries aren't appealing either ...
