Hate to say it but I'd have the glass of wine. Just a small one, and not in the first trimester. But after that, sure, I indulged occasionally. TBH, I felt so appalling for the first four months that I didn't want wine, but when I was feeling better, the odd glass (maybe one a week) was a nice treat. Freddie's not a retard or anything so I guess things worked out OK. :D

I had the odd glass with DS and he turned out just fine too. I just feel like I've got so far without it this time (well, apart from a little glass of bucks fizz at Christmas ) that it would be a shame to start now. Not long to go...

Although, technically, a proper glass of Pimm's should count as 1 of my 5 a day, so must be good for me :p

We've got a Groclock and it works some of the time. Not this morning, it's set for 7 am at weekends but DS was up at 6. If he's happy to just snuggle in bed with us then we let him, but if he's being lively and wanting to jump on us he gets sent back to bed til the sun wakes up.

I'm not even pregnant, but that sentence really doesn't sit right with me.

Perhaps it's because you're a little dizzy up there on your high horse.

Speaking of OH, I have been speaking with him about possible evictionproceedings and he won't entertain the idea of us getting jiggy with it. He said that he doesn't want his little man anywhere near baby's head. Men! lol. Hot curries aren't appealing either ...

Luckily my DH isn't so squeamish. We now have a new euphemism for sex in this house - "poking the baby" :rotfl:

Fingers crossed something happens for you soon.

Well DS slept through the whole night without a peep! He woke up at his usual time of 6.45, and when we went in he was sitting up quietly in bed naming the animals on his duvet:)

I on the other hand slept really badly. Woke up practically every hour expecting to hear a THUD and for DS to be on the floor!

    Too cute!

I know Freddie's a lot younger but his waking routine is drag to standing, rattle bars of cot, shriek at top of voice. Not quite as cute... :D

Not being too crude....but we've been jiggy throughout (OH has no morals!) - now I am putting a halt to it until I want baby out - which - I'd like another 2 weeks if poss!!!!

He bought himself a huge fresh pineapple - so has got to eat it all by himself - I will not entertain anything that could potentially bring on labour at the moment - I won't be sitting on my birth ball either! Haha! I even slowed down over a bumpy road yesterday......!:D

Anyone know any tricks for making baby stay put longer?? I have been rubbing my belly (which really irritates me when I see other people doing it - don't know why - but it just does so I haven't been doing it!) - hoping it might make baby calmer and wanting to stay in comfort!!!

You would have thought that my OH would want jiggy jiggy time as we haven't been allowed to have it for the past 20 weeks but oh no! He said that the thought of it will scar him for life lol. I told him that baby would be oblivious to it all but it fell on deaf ears. We are having curry for tea instead. Lol.

Just keep your feet up and don't do anything save watch trashy TV. I was determined to have a summer baby and kept telling mine, over the past few weeks, that he had to stay put.

Does your OH think he is a stereotypical black !!!!!! star? I doubt very much he could touch the baby's head :rotfl: I suppose we can let our men dream though. ;)

I went out last night with some friends for a friends birthday. DH stayed at home as he was tired bless him. Was so funny watching everyone getting drunk while you stay sober. Especially when you see the birthday boy throwing up all the whiskey he was bought for the night. Wonder how he's doing this morning.

20 weeks for me tomorrow with scan on Friday so hopefully baby plays ball and we find out what were having. Got to remember our £4 for some photos :D

Hi all, hope you don't mind me joining you, I've been lurking for a while, been mainly on the 12-24 week thread, but I'm now 24+2 so though I'd say hello! This is our first, due 20th Sept, and we are Team Pink!

Loving all the wine chat, were just back from asda where I picked up a bottle of Fre White Zinfandel rose, so will report back on how it is lol. Has anyone found a good alcohol free cider? Really missing a pint of ice cold magners and ice on a hot day!

No lol. He just doesn't want that part of his anatomy near baby's head ... the 'happy ending' bit just grosses him out lol
