Well not had the best few days, we are supposed to be completing on our new house today... fell through 2 days ago!!! OH fuming is an understatement. All to do with the ex of the person we are buying from putting and application for a charge against the house on Wednesday!!! Sounds like a grudge thing... They had a small window of opportunity to put the app in as all the other charges had been lifted!!! Its up to the land registry to decide if he has a case, hopefully not and we pick back up!!! My OH wants to go round and see the EX, told him no, he has calmed down a bit!!! Person we are buying off not answering her phone. Said to OH she probably doesnt know what to say, she knows we have rung and will ring us when she is ready!!!

So I will go home tonight to a house all packed ready to move, have spent the morning cancelling things.... virgin install, insurance, bank.. etc. What I am goin to do this weekend, we were supposed to move!!! Have decided may have to go shopping.... even though I hate it, cant be in the house!!!

Sorry moan over... Just hope this is sorted soon. Am struggling to lift things and the tiredness had kicked back in, and thats at 24 weeks!!!

With regards to sleeping bags/gro bags, surely it's better to get a lower tog which can then be layered with a cellular blanket if it's very cold, rather than buying a higher tog one that might get too warm? I was under the impression that layering was key, so you can add/remove to ensure correct temp?

Hi guys - thought I would add myself to the bottom your list and become the 1st November bump on it Had my scan on Wednesday was really awesome. I'm dated 14+5 today. Hope you guys are all ok. Congrats to all the new babies & mothers on here too xx

That was my theory too. I bought the 0-6 month in 1tog because it was the only one they had and I considered the 6-18 month in 2.5tog but by the time she's 6 months it'll be coming into the summer (in theory!) so maybe best just wait and see nearer the time if she's comfortable in the 1tog.

Welsh - that sucks! I'm sure you're right that the seller just doesn't know what to say. There's not a lot she can do either and is probably just mortified. Have you got a plan b and/or a buyer for your place? Hope things work out quickly 'cause that's the last thing that you need!

Spoke to my mum yesterday about big-baby and she said that 8-9lb babies run in the family so it's not uncommon...but I better not be booked in to have a section while she's on holiday :rotfl:

Thanks Claree__x, its my OH's house we live in now so he was remortgaging it to a buy to let, so he could rent it out. So luckily we dont have to move... as the house needs doing before we can rent it out!!!! On the up side the OH said he is goin to finish the bits on house, hes only been there 25 years!!! But thats no good to me if the house is packed up... well better late then never!!!

I am goin to get a 1 tog as due in sep, so will still be a little warm. Will then layer up if need be till 6 months and decide at the time then if baby will need a thicker one, My mum can buy that for christmas!!!!
