Also been getting a really tight feeling across the bottom of my bump, almost where my knickers sit. It's not painful, just uncomfortable. Anyone else had this?

Yes, I have had this. I just put it down to my body making early preparations. Now, my entire bump goes really tight and I have period pains and my lower back hurts.

If it bothers you, just mention it when you have your next check-up with with your MW

Snap. Playing the waiting game isn't very nice, is it? I will miss feeling my little un wriggle about but I can't wait for my body to get back to normal. Have you tried lighting a few candles and reading a trashy magazine whilst in a bubble filled bath??

Think I might do that tonight actually! I can't believe I've actually gone over due. :(

Only by a day though. With any luck baby will be here before the end of the weekend. Mind you, having said that, I won't complain should mine appear before my due date!

Could be worse then - at least you'll not be homeless :j

I'm a bit terrified of this grobag. My cousin got one when she was a baby and she's now 4 and won't let go of the thing. She takes it everywhere. It had a cow on it so she calls it "moo" which is fine...but so do the rest of us, how ridiculous :rotfl:

I really feel like her mum should put her foot down on it 'cause she's starting school in August but who am I to say...

Aw bless her! I'm sure your LO will have something like that too. I don't know anyone who didn't. Some of my friends had a blanket, my sis had a little baby t-shirt, I had a teddy called Rocky and my OH had one called Spider! Lol! We still have them for sentimental value. She'll get used to not having it at school and will need it less and less - I only had my teddy at bed time or if I was ill but I kept it until my teens - she'll grow out of it eventually. That is sweet that you all call it Moo as well :rotfl:
  • welshcosmic - i was workin in barry until last month but it was such a long drive i got moved to an office nearer home :) i'm by cross hands so not far.

Well that is it's name :rotfl:

I have a teddy that I got when I was born, ready to be handed down to tiny human. It's a bit worse for wear though as my dad decided to cut the head off it one day. I was distraught. My mum sewed it back on though - it's had to have periodic repairs since!

Maybe moo's not so weird then!
