Shhhh niknok, don't talk about weight gain, I'm still in denial and not even daring to stand on the scales. Midwife best not weigh me later either, I just don't want to know, I'll concentrate on that after the baby is here! Although really loving the belvita biscuits can't stop eating them at every opportunity! Going to treat myself to coffee and cake at costa at the hospital, whilst I wait for my scan, going to go early, to make sure I can park and actually have half an hour to drink a coffee in peacebest go and get dressed in a mo, MIl is coming around soon, and I don't think she'd appreciate my ill fitting dressing gown!!!!!

Hey all
Congrats to the new mums and welcome to the newbies!
The summer is over here today it is raining and windy.
Good luck for your scan today missymoo, hope it all goes well.
Does anyone know when the midwife goes through birthing options? I've got my 28 week appointment next week maybe she will do it then? Just wondering whether to bring husband along with me.
I finally caved and got a v-shaped pillow off eBay the other day and its sooo comfy it really does make a difference and I'm sleeping a lot better now, even if it does take up half the bed making it very difficult to have a cuddle with hubby!
Hope your all well

Raining here too Baleb. My midwife went through birthing options at my last appointment, which was 34 weeks.
I have a long pillow in bed, which helps a lot. But for me to sleep on my left side, it needs to be down the middle of the bed so like having a little wall between me and DH at the moment
I'm glad your scan went well, snozberry. Hope yours also goes well today missymoo. You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.0 -
My midwife didn't go through birth at 28 weeks, I have my next appointment at 32 weeks so maybe she will then but I doubt it.0

Congrats to all the new mummies, hope your enjoying your babies and managing to get some, slightly more comfortable sleep!i
Hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday, raining and miserable here too today.
Goodluck with the scan missy!
Baleb, in my notes it says discuss birth preferences at 36 weeks, but prob depends where you are, I'm sure it was slightly earlier last time.
Got my 29 week appointment today and whooping cough tomorrow, I'm going to feel like a pin cushion!

Mine birth options etc wasn't discussed until 36 weeks I think.

I'm knackered today. Made the mistake of having pizza for dinner last night and woke up feeling like I'd licked a cat - got up, drank a pint of water, went to the toilet (as ye do!) and back to bed, couldn't sleep for ages and I'm sure OH kept kicking me in his sleep - not cool!My Debt Free Diary
