That had me crying like a child the other day - the one with the dad and the wee boy? Signing in as an emotional wreck :j
I've got 4 "essays" to memorise for my exam next Friday as well as a set of accounts, not sure I'm going to be able to do it! Normally I'd be okay but tiny human is not letting me think! My Debt Free Diary

Hello, just a quickie.
Baby Edward born on Saturday morning weighing in a 9lb 2oz. He's adorable, labour wasn't too scary either. It's just incredibly overwhelming!
Congrats to Highlandlass too.x0 -
Congrats Highland Lass and Lazywife!0
-
Oh lazy wife!!! So pleased and excited for you! Enjoy your little one
Yes claree the father son advert properly cried at it. My concentration just won't let me read or write much in one go and I'm so uncomfortable sitting for long periods of time. I find it easier to sit on my ball and Have my laptop on the edge of the bed is the most comfortable.
Pigpens been quiet, hope you're ok my dear.
Omg just realised I must be about 3rd on the list now!0 -

Love cake, glad you're better now. Bending over is the hardest, putting tights on is a joke! Lol at OH painting your toe nails. I complained of not being able to see let alone reach my 'lady parts' to tidy them up, thinking he'd offer, but he said I bet a lot of people in your position don't even bother!!! Thanks for the help lol. I think worst part of this pregnancy I'd being so huge and only beig able to walk at a snails pace along with the awful piles! Really really not nice. Strange that last time I had the most horrendous heartburn, but very rarely Have it with this one!
OMG, I know what you mean with the 'lady parts'. I did the best I could in the shower the other day with not being able to see what I was doing and not being able to reach very well - when I got out of the shower and had a look in the mirror it was OK, although not as tidy as I used to be able to do it, but I think my OH will draw the line at toenails! :rotfl: I would just go to get waxed, but I really don't fancy it at this size. How would the even do it? Normally you have to bend your knee in towards your chest etc. and you can't do that with a bump!0 -
Oh, I forgot to tell you all about my recent jabs since I fell ill straight after I had them...
So I went to the hospital for my Anti-D and they said that the last lot of bloods they had taken had clotted so they needed to take more (you have to have your bloods done within 2 weeks before the Anti-D) I wasn't chuffed as I hate having blood taken, but what can you do. So she tries my left arm which has a lovely juicy vein close to the surface and usually is no problem, then she says 'oh dear that vein has collapsed' and then I nearly collapsed! Started feeling all hot and woozy so sent OH off to get juice. So then she says to the other midwife in the room who I was told was 'observing' her- 'I can't get that vein do you want to try the other arm' and the other midwife says 'no you try again'. So that made me think that she was probably a trainee, but I wasn't told. Grrrr! So she manages with the other arm, but it was really sore and by the next day I had a massive purple bruise going from my elbow to half way down my arm - no joke! It's still there two weeks later! Then when I was feeling able to get off the bed I went back over to the chair for my Anti-D. Man was that stingy! I had it in my backside last time which was much better. It's a thick liquid and quite a big needle, but actually my arm felt ok afterwards.
The following day I went to the GP for my whooping cough jab and she was shocked at my poor arms - she said that pregnant women are the easiest to get blood from and was baffled as to how the midwife had managed to make such a mess of my arms. Anyway, the whooping cough needle was fine, but the next day OMG! My arm was so, so sore I couldn't lift it above shoulder height. My friend said hers was so sore that she couldn't drive for two days and I thought she was being dramatic, but ooyah, that is a sore one.
Anyway, I thought I had a bit of a reaction to the whooping cough as I started to feel like crap the next day, but as it turned out it was the chest infection that I mentioned before. All in all, a crappy week! I have another midwife appointment on Thursday and I really hope they don't want more blood!0 -

I couldn't have it done at this late stage. My stomach covers half my lady parts. And i couldn't imagine the constant flinching would be too good either. Mind you I'm going to Have to try and do some sort of leg shaving tonight though as its so hot and I have my scan tomorrow and the hospital is always roasting so wil have to wear a dress. Might take my fan too.
God love cake poor you!!! I can sympathise with the whopping cough jab, my arm was hugely sore afterwards, really struggled to lift Roo the next day!0 -
