The TT bottles don't get good reviews tbh.. might be worth having a read. They leak apparently.

I used TT bottles with DS and they were fine, never had any leaks. TBH, I know more people who've had leaks with Avent bottles. I did find the vents on the TT bottles tended to stick closed though, which makes the teat collapse during feeding - you just need to make sure you give them a squeeze when you wash them to make sure they aren't stuck.

Although it can be hit and miss as to which bottle your baby prefers. So might be best just to buy 1 or 2 in case your baby doesn't take to the TT ones and you need to try something else. (Says she who has 6 shiny new TT bottles waiting for this baby :o)

I'm not sure what this baby is doing, but my pelvis is so sore today :( Every time he moves it hurts. I'm sure I didn't have this with DS.

We have the TT steriliser so think thats why he chose them. They were £10 for 3 of £10 for 6, crazy really so got the 6. I know many people who have used them so hopefully they will be ok.

  • We started with avent bottles and the teats were too hard so we tried the mothercare innosense ones which were brill except sometimes you had to squeeze the bottle to get the milk going which with a screaming baby is not cool!! I've just bought the tt bottles from asda baby event and they haven't leaked and seem to be good. 6 for £10 you can't complain, if lo doesn't get one with them then change them, we have 3 different types!!

Could I be added to the list please? Am due August 5th (but because of gestational diabetes plan is to be induced 2 weeks early!)

I've been lying low this week, woke up with tonsillitis on Monday so I've been wiped out all week - still not right but back to work tomorrow, JOY! I've also had a chest infection so been coughing all week and my tummy muscles, which were feeling bad anyway, now hate me.

I haven't bought anything for Wriggler yet but have been looking online at Dr Browns bottles, I used them with youngest and they were brilliant for her colic. I've also been looking at an electric breast pump, my girls weren't able to latch on (I'm inverted on one side and an encounter with a nasty b*tch of a MW knocked all the confidence out of me when having eldest) so I express fed them both, lasted 6 weeks with eldest and 14 weeks with youngest. I found the Avent pump to be best for me so was looking at their electric one but the cheapest I can find it is £80 - I do't know if I can justify that when I know I have no problems with the manual one!! Decisions, decisions!

PigPen, delighted your scan went well. Hope OH was with you x

    Huge congratulations The_Bride!

Oh joy of joyness... Looks like we are in for a fun few weeks with this one... I am bleeding now.. !!!!!!... it is never simple is it? Why do these things happen when you have a million other things going on???

It was absolutely fine yesterday so why it decided to do this today is anyones guess... here's hoping it is all down to my constant sneezing and sorts itself out asap..

    Naughty baby!

Oh pigpen, hope you're ok. Have you seen/spoken to your midwife? (asking this gently as I know you're not keen) XXX

Nah, the one I would speak to goes home at 5pm and I am not going to the hospital so pointless speaking to them.. HB is going good and strong and we are getting wriggles still.. so baby is fine.. it is just me that is broken.. it is probably cervix related due to my sneezing and coughing thanks to todays cold.

Hope all is ok and the bleeding stops soon pigpen, I know it can be so worrying. Worth giving maternity a call?
