  • Oh and forgot on the subject of bottles, the innosense bottles from mothercare, have teats placed in a different place to others so it is always full of milk, what I've noticed with the tt is that you have to tip lo back further to get the last bit, so if your lo suffers with wind, I would suggest mothercare, as you can sit them upright pretty much all the way through if you wanted!

I leant it to my sister when her 2nd baby arrived and have recently got it back again. Those old milk-pimping days seem a lonnnnng time ago!

I'm good thanks MV. Currently chuckling to myself about your milk-pimping days! :p

How are you getting on? Bought any pink things yet? :)

If I'm able to BF then I'm definitely getting the medela pump and their bottles too as they are supposed to promote BF as they are hard to latch onto. We want to be able to BF and bottle feed - however much the "experts" complain about it..it'll suit us and baby for much longer.

Bollards to the experts.. you do what is easiest and most suited to your family.. says the former bf counsellor :p. (I was 'fired' because I told a mum who was really struggling and tired and upset that she should do what she felt was best for her family and if that meant continuing with bf she had our full support but if she felt she needed to switch to formula she had given bf a bloody good go and shouldn't feel guilty about the decision if it made her happier and more confident.. apparently we are meant to force people to continue doing what they don't want to do through guilt and scaremongering :( )

The bleeding has settled overnight, I am certain it was just the cervix playing up.. just nasty discharge now but that'll be ok in a day or 3. Baby hopping about so that's fine.. water infection is playing up a bit today but that is probably down to the use as a trampoline and aggravation from the sonographer pressing on it on Thursday.. of course I didn't have a full bladder when I went, I'd not even had a drink for over 12 hours before lol.

Well, I am feeding my baby as I see fit. I want to breast feed but I fully accept that it might or might not happen. I'm not very happy with the care that I have received from my community midwives so they had better watch it should they try the high and mighty approach lol.

Does anyone have any words of wisdom to help me through the final few weeks please?? Pretty please. I am uncomfortable all the time and am utterly fed up! I am trying my hardest to enjoy it but I'm tired, achy and swollen.
