hey all. Hope all the mummies and bumps are doing well. I see some names on here that were here when i had a bump! Congratulations missymoo and pigpen! Ellie is now 16 months old!!

Ellie was born with a heart defect Could I ask a favour. Ellie's heart condition wasnt picked up until she was 8 weeks old and very poorly. There is a pulse screening test that is painless and takes only a few minutes and there is a petition to bring it in as one of the checks newborns get it would pick up 75% of breathing problems and heart defect. Emily Rose was born Monday morning 2 weeks early weighing in at 7lb 1oz. You would think that being my 4th I would recognize being in labour but nooooo..... Woke up 4am with V..V.V.V.mild period pains every 5 mins lasting 30 secs, so i ignored them. Woke up at 6 with the same pains but every 2.5 mins, no loss below either.

The only thing that worried me was that I hadn't felt her move all night so I rang delivery who advised me to come in for a check up. Got to hospital at 7.30am and I was 7cm!!!!! Pains got a lot more intense around 8.00 and was hanging off the G & A by 8.30am. She arrived just after 9, no tears or grazes and shes perfect. If Carlsberg did Labours........ Good luck to all the ladies in waiting xxxx

Now that's the kind of labour I'm after....7cm without realising you are in labour....where do I order one of those labours??!!

Hi ladies,

I did post last week but have had my 20 week scan this week and all was ok.
We're team yellow, i guess a boy though and i was right with dd.
ill have to see what bounty says!

Re make up i used to use really expensive stuff but mostly buy rimmel or avon now as its just as good, cant justify the expensive stuff really

I'm absolutely exhausted. I worked from 8.30am - 5.00pm then was in college from 6.00pm-8.30pm. Luckily I only have one class left because I really could have cried from how tired I was last night. Found out my exam is only a 50% pass mark as well, how bizarre!

I can't remember exactly who recommended the triple dry deodorant the other day but I got it last night from Tesco and it has made a huge difference - and it doesn't sting!

Congrats The_Bride enjoy your new bundle of joy.

Went to midwife yesterday and she said baby is really low already and in the pelvis. Really dont want to go overdue so hopefully thats a good sign. Was measuring 35 weeks which I will be on Sunday so a little ahead but not much. Trying to get back into the routine of some exercise which probably isnt the wisest at 35 weeks but swimming is only £2 so I might as well make the most of the next 5 or so weeks.

Might nip into Mr A's later as they have tommee tippee bottles 6 for £10 which my OH got rather excited about last night and made me promise i'd go pick some up.

Hope everyone is well. I'm getting a bit fed up of not being able to sleep because of the damn hip pain but hopefully I can battle through
