I am not a big make up person, but I do have a weak spot for expensive products from the likes of Clinique.... I think I'll definitely be downgrading (or just not bothering with make up!!) when maternity leave starts!

I'm a sucker for MAC - can't do without anything (particuarly with another 3 months in the office) but I can't justify £45 either.

Congrats on the scan pigpen, I too am soooo curious to know if they were tears of joy or of acceptance of another girl...... your pic is really nice and clear too.

I too used to use expensive makeup, but have downgraded to loreal in the past couple of years since having a baby, have had several conversations about this with my sister who, wears far more than I do and she has even swapped for some Rimmel bits which she says see just as good. Some thigs are on 3 for 2 at boots I think....

Am officially 36 weeks today. V uncomfortable at the moment as we had a huuuuuge late lunch. My thinking is if I fill my stomach up with food surely there won't be enough room for my huge baby and she'll have to make her way out.... That's my theory anyway. Even tried sex this morning but even that hasnt worked.... I am seriously huge, waddling is a way of life now. OH actually asked me how much weight I'd put on!!! I mean how very dare he?!

Ah helen he sounds ace!I want one like that!
Claree thats such a cute dress! I honestly don't mind what I have but i am defo more drawn to girls clothes than boys, saw a really funky dress from next with little camper vans on, only £8 too. I have bought as much neutral stuff as i need now so will just have to have a shopping spree when baby arrives, probs on the internet!
Ah Missy you ready to go now then?
What is the average weight gain for whole pregnancy? i read that the lighter u were to begin with the more u should be putting on?
I used to use Clinique foundation and recently bought a MAC one ( too dark tho :( ) but can also really recommend Rimmel wake me up foundation, it's quite light coverage but realy brightens the skin-it's a beauty bloggers fave too so highly recommended!

use night time pads.. and most breastpads are the same.. I hate the slimline one.. chances are you won't need breastpads until milk comes in anyway... so unless you are staying a while no need to bother...

Running out of both my liquid and powder foundation. Stuff I use is normally £45 for both. Downgrading to MaxFactor is only £15 at boots...think I'll have to take the plunge :(

    Vanity no more!

I won't use anything on my face for foundation but Clinque as my skin is really sensitive but I have switched to Boots Natural Collection powder on top (and their eye shadow) and had no problems - it's less than £2 so it works out quite evenly.

Mrsj28 I found tesco branded stuff as good as any for maternity pads and breast pads. The breast pads dont come individually wrapped like some of the branded ones but you do pay a lot less for them. My hospital bag is so full it hardly closes. Think I might take the tiny baby stuff I have out of it though as I'm having such a ginormous baby!!!! Sitting writing my assignment, so boring!!

Gettin OH to fit the car seat and the build the crib tomorrow as the weather isn't supposed to be that good so can't do anything outside and he goes away in just over a week for ten days unless the baby of already here and I want to have everything sorted just in case. I'm going to give the house a good clean in the hope it helps baby on her way! Lots of floor scrubbing to be done.

Hi just a sneaky peek to see if there are anymore new baby arrivals - Saffa baby is obviously too comfy where he is :D But am sending lots of labor vibes your way :)

Also Saffa, if its any consolation I had the texts from people asking if baby was here up to 2 weeks before my due date, so I know the pain of reading them every time the phone goes :rotfl: I think 'cos my belly was so big everyone thought I was fibbing about when I was due!!

Also my dear DH used to text about 5 times a day from work asking if there was any sign?????? Knowing how quick I labor, I did send a number of sarcastic replies.....:p

Fingers crossed for all those near their due date. Baby Flynn is doing great now and does a 3am wake up to feed helen - just like my others! Strange eh! But we are settling into a routine and I have my first school run in the morning as DH goes back to work tomorrow  Will be fun if nothing else :rotfl:

Hope everyone is keeping well xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
