Well, I am feeding my baby as I see fit. I want to breast feed but I fully accept that it might or might not happen. I'm not very happy with the care that I have received from my community midwives so they had better watch it should they try the high and mighty approach lol.
Does anyone have any words of wisdom to help me through the final few weeks please?? Pretty please. I am uncomfortable all the time and am utterly fed up! I am trying my hardest to enjoy it but I'm tired, achy and swollen.
Nope sorry! Those last few weeks are just hard work! I remember crying when I was overdue with ds2 and being annoyed because he didn't want to come out.
Obviously all is forgiven when they eventually arrive, you just have to keep reminding yourself that day will come!0 -

I mixed breast and bottle with both mine and plan on doing the same with this one, neither had any problems switching between the two. Sometimes they just go way overboard with the 'advice' IMO.0 -
Snozberry I'm feeling the same as you, exhausted all the time, really don't know what to do with myself and I still have 3 and a half weeks to go!0

Primark was the first place that I went to and they only had 6/8 or 18/20 and it will be a cold day in hell before I buy the latter size (its too much a jump up from my normal size). I ended up getting a hot pink (yuk) number for £9.50 from marks n sparks.0 -
Congratulations saffagal (although I'm now terrified as I've moved up the list!).
Pigpen, I'm glad things seem to be settling down for you. X
Snozberry, I find swearing often helps and also trawling the internet when you should be vacuuming (as I am now) :-)
Went for coffee with my friend this morning then met OH for a bit of shopping. We found a gorgeous soft toy for the baby which OH bought. I think it will be bigger than she is! Lovely weather again here so the washing is on the line, bathrooms have been cleaned and I really need to vacuum. It would appear that my neighbours all now know about my pregnancy, I kept it quiet for as long as possible because there are a few really gossipy people on my road. At least I now only have two weeks of them gossiping!
Take care all. XXX0 -
Just been and collected my Emma's diary pregnancy and mum to be packs - forgot I even had vouchers for them until I sorted everything today - now been through all the stuff from all the packs I have and I have a lot of freebies to try out
and so many vouchers too but if people want to give me free stuff just because I'm pregnant then who am I to complain!
New first time mummy to a gorgeous little boy!
