Thanks missy and Claree nice to know I'm not the only one! Still got 12 weeks to go so goodness knows what people will be saying by then! Normally try to ignore it but after a while it gets to me! Thou DH says I'm the same as last time, think he's trying to be nice and stay out of trouble!
Definitely with you on the socks, although I'm lucky I have my dd who is more than willing to help, cant wait for it to warm up a bit more so I can just stick flip flops on and not worry about it! Although I suppose then its the whole nail painting thing, thats another problem!!
I figure that I can't see my toes so I'm not painting them for other people's benefit
I bought flip flops & flat shoes in ASDA this weekend so I think they'll be my staples for the next 17 weeks or so. I also got H&M cropped trousers...which are the best fitting pair of full length trousers I've ever had. Hmm.My Debt Free Diary

Small thing is quite happy it appears so there is nothing anyone could or would do so any appointment would be a waste of everyones time.. I very much doubt they would come tidy the house which is really pi$$ing me off not being able to do it.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Oh, I meant to say after mentioning it on here a while back - Inlaws have stopped smoking!!
MIL has been off them for 4 weeks, no relapses.
FIL has been "off" them for 3 weeks but maybe having 1/2 per day. He works away so it's difficult for him to get to the docs but he's making an appointment asap to get the same tablets as MIL is on.
They've not said they're doing it for me but I know they are - bless them!My Debt Free Diary

That's good of them, and for the baby of course!
When I had my other two people expecting me to take my babies to visit relatives in smokey houses really annoyed me!0 -

though I wanted to be yellow, never crossed my mind to find out really!
Feeling pretty big this week and got told off from MW last week for using my stomach muscles to get up so I am now trying to get used to rolling onto my side and heaving myself up!

Go you!
I know this is probably nothing but I thought I'd ask on here anyway. I've noticed 2 or 3 times now that my heart has suddenly started pounding really quickly and my temperature goes right up for maybe 1-2 mins, and then back to normal. Dunno if that's anything to be concerned about?
Also - is there a particular time where I should be able to consistantly feel tiny human kick? I still get hardly anything at 23 weeks, I know again it's probably nothing to worry about but I just thought I'd askMy Debt Free Diary

I do sometimes get a lot hotter and get a bit of a red face so I do think temporary temperature rises are pretty normal! And heart racing too i think.. I couldn't tell you why though!
At the start, around wks early 20s i didn't feel the baby move all the time, it was mostly at night. Advice I have seen is if you're worried, have a cold drink/ice lolly or something then lie down in a quiet place and wait and hopefully you will feel wriggles. I wouldn't worry though, pretty soon you will be getting kicked A LOT!0 -

I don't need a reason - just reassurance:j

Claree.. I get the heart racing too.. it seems perfectly normal. As for movements.. some babies are just lazy.. my 4th and the last one barely moved at all.. in fact my 4th didn't move.. we had lots of scans and she was fine.. just lazy.. nothing changed there then! It does seem to be the quieter babies in utero are the naughtier ones after they arrive.. not to concern you
.
Mine is a hoppety thing.. I don't think it is ever still.. they are all different, so long as you get some movement every couple of days (they expect 10 movements at 28 weeks each day.. even if they are a cluster of 10 wriggles/kicks) so it isn't anything to worry about.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
