cold in the office and too hot outside. dont like the heat now (i never thought iwould say that). start getting palpitations too. sigh. still got that pain. did anyone have it for so long, ie like everyday? also who uses a doppler?

I still have an ache now and I'm 30 weeks tomorrow, there is a lot of growing and stretching for bubs to do and so it's to be expected.

I also have a doppler but I don't use it too much just every now and then as a comfort and bonding thing rather than a reassurance measure.

I use the phone all day - it is basically glued to my ear so hence why no headphones.

Yep I would tell you off more but I don't want to seem mean lol. You do need to stop worrying though hun. Like Diszi says, everything hurts in pregnancy at some point. Somethings will hurt for a few hours somethings will hurt for a few months, it's all part and parcel.

With the doppler, if you get one and struggle to find the heartbeat your going to panic big time. It's an amazing bonding tool but can be hell on earth if your a worrier. x

ah i see. oh no.. i dont know what to suggest? just take the pain then? i cant stand stuff like that. even when DH eats and smacks his lips i tell him off. wish could tell people off in the office. maybe one day subtly bring it up about people's pet hates. haha. one guy did that and it became a conversaiton about how he hates people eating smelly food in the office. lol

sorry to hear that morocha. thanks ikkle i do need it at times. no i think i would def want a doppler to listen and get excited. well to a certain degree it is reassuring isnt it? like when iwent to the epu, listening to it made me so calm.

check your notes first to see where your placenta is... if it is anterior you might not be able to hear the heartbeat and it would send you crazy x

ok will do. i know when the midwife tried she had to try different places and also with the doctor at the epu he had to place it in different places and then we heard it. x
