Thanks everyone for your kind wishes, I mustn't pin all my hopes on the sweep though because even if the midwife does it, it may not work! Still if you don't hear from me it's because things are happening – exciting!
Gilly, re. the sweep, you won't be offered one unless you are past your due date. At least, that's how I understand it. But you can always ask your midwife when you can have one.
Must go and get ready now!0 -
It's moving day!!! Although we aren't moving until late on. DOH! So last day with internet.
I'm shredding loads of documents like a demon and my litte Belle (dog) is NOT liking it one bit. She looks terrified. She was ok with our shredder, but it died yesterday so my dad brought round his somewhat noisier and bigger industrial shredder. She looks at it like it's going to eat her. It's pretty funny to be fair.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Thanks sexymouse. We won't have internet at all!!! But I am getting a new phone on the 5th/6th August (well that's when I order it) so I'll have the internet through that. YEY!
I have it for the rest of today anyway. I've got the dentist shortly and have the dreaded pregnancy bleeding gums, so that should be fun.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Missmonkeymoo / Jediquigley - What code did you have for the cheeky wipes? Sorry seem to have missed that, also keen on buying washable wipes.
Defo no ironing baby clothes, its very rare I iron my own clothes - yay for modern materials.
For towels we were given 3 or 4 used baby towels from a close friend and a new one from grandma so going to use them as a starting point and will probably replace as we go along. Baby stuff all adds up!!2025 financial goals & challenges!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
A co-worker breathes so loud I think I am about to explode in annoyance... It is like working next to Darth Vader... it is particularly worse when they eat their lunch at their desk as they are a bad eater too... make all sorts of noises and nearly every day chokes on their food coughing and spluttering (how you can't eat without almost dying is beyond me!)... it always annoys me but today I am tired with a raging tooth ache and I'm about ready to kill.... how can I get past it??? It actually makes me angry and I can't be friendly all day as i'm so wound up by it all!!!
Headphones/Radio are a no-no in my job.
I will either cry or scream in a minute..what can I do?:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -
Ladies with the labour vibes - your such lucky creatures! I'm having absolutely nothing except a bit of tightening this morning...!!
AMC & Robyn - good luck to the two of you!! Think i'll be joining you on the sweeps on friday if nothing has happened. One little thing - are you partners joining you on your appointments? I'm trying to persuade hubby to join me on the 41 week one.
Re the childcare issue - i've already got bubba on a list for a nursery place. Was told that getting places is really difficult so looked into this after the 20 week scan, also the nursery is 5 mins walk away from home so was keen for this particular place. It only opened in Jan but seems lovely. Living in London we have to pay a lot more for childcare. Looking at £50-£60 per day. Initial plan was to put bubba in there for 4 days a week (as i am hoping to rearrange my hours to work 4 days a week) but hubby has now said that he would like to see if he can also work 1 day at home and look after bubba one of the other days, so hopefully if both of the plans work out we'll only need nursery for 3 days a week. We only got him on one list as each list costs £25 (seems std practice) so if we dont get him in there we'll probably have to do childminder until the nursery place becomes available. Pinkies crossed we wont have that problem!2025 financial goals & challenges!

Rups stop with the panicking now... it is really bad for your mental health and the baby!!! Sorry to say but since I have been pregnant EVERYTHING hurts, aches, twangs, throbs etc. Unless you are in actual agony lying on the floor struggling to get yourself up and can't think of anything else then it is 99.99% likely that nothing is wrong. Your body is changing constantly trying to adjust... baby lays on nerves and that gives you pain... you have to stop the worrying because it will make you go mad!!!!!!!!!!!! You went to hospital and they sent you home, didn't even keep you in for observation so I guess they weren't too worried... everyone suffers with different ailments throughout but in common, we all suffer with lots of new and different ailments that we aren't used to.
We have a doppler...I use it probably once every 2-3 weeks with OH so he feels included and can hear his baby in there.:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -
ohh dizsie that is my PET hate. i hate it when people make so much noise when they eat! i was going to say wear headphones, and then read your comment. maybe speak to your manager and ask if u can wear headphones as its driving you bonkers. i do that here as someone is slurping tea or someone is eatng with their mouth open.
last night i got a seat and was sat across this indian man eating cherries. i wanted to kill him as he was chewing so loudly! grrrr. or leave a note on his/her desk. someone did that to my friend. lol
