Hello everyone, still no baby here, almost a week overdue now. Had a couple of sweeps over the past week which have done bog all so will be looking at being induced late next week if baby doesn't make an appearance.
Congratulations JT100.
Hope everyone else is well. I went to Aldi today Dizzi and stocked up on a few bits. Happy 33 weeks, keeping everything crossed for you this week.I :heart2: saving money0 -
http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/offers_week09Thursday13.htm are the Aldi offers for the week anyway in the "completely random crap" aisle.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

Hi all - hope everyone is ok and congrats to the recent births. I had a dreaded migraine today so have felt rubbish all day
I have finally bought some furniture - picked up some clearance stuff from Tutti Bambini - their wardrobe and changer drawers (I don't need the changer as I already have a Cosatto one but need the drawers) from here - http://www.tuttibambini.co.uk/clearance-items - hopefully its ok - I have one of their cots and they seems pretty good and robust. I also bought a cot mattress and 2 stairgates from Tescos (we have no stairs but they are to be used a dog guards!!!). Oh and picked up some lovely stuff from Sainsburys the other day - all their TU baby clothing is 25% off - even the reduced stuff - I got some gorgeous (2 pk) sleep suits wth scratch mitts for £3 - make sure you look in the bargain clothing area as well as along side the normal baby stuff.
Anyone else bought anything exciting? I know some of you were going to get a pram soon :T
I have gone up 3 spaces in one day on the birth list:eek:....will everyone please slow down...!!!:D0 -
Hi Ladies!
Congrats to new mummies & big hugs to those who need them xx
It's so strange to think bubs is due this month, the last little bit goes really quickly!
It's my last day at work today too & I wont be going back till next year. Yey for maternity leave!! Although feeling a tad overwhelmed by it all (stupid hormones!)
Hope everyone has a happy Friday & a good weekend

Hello Ladies, Congratulations to all the new mummies out there
Cant believe I'm in the 20's on the list, time is flying by! SPD is getting me down now, have had my crutches since mid Dec and feel like a proper social outcast. Luckily DH is a househusband so does all the donkey work in the house and the kids are golden ( usually!! ).
Need to see consultant at 37 weeks, they *may* offer me induction at 39 wks but I've got my heart set on a natural water birth as I feel this would be better for my poor old pelvis! I've got a sneaky suspicion that this madam will put in an early appearance like her sisters, all the signs are the same, just going to keep my legs crossed till 37 wks!!If you like it, do it.

Oooh nearly forgot, last week I had an email from a competition I entered on Facebook informing me I was the winner of their £500 giveaway. Won lots of lovely bits and pieces
About time something nice came from this pregnancy ( until madam arrives

Congrats to the new mums! Feels a bit scary hearing birth announcements on the thread, feel like I wandered onto the wrong thread, still feel like ive only been pregnant a few months
IHateDida Ive been buying baby stuff in the last 3 weeks, and bought my pram at the baby show (icandy peach in silver) - cant wait til it arrives now! I saw the tutti bambini glider chair at the show and that was amazing, so comfortable
Have held off on the other big stuff as its being bought for us and we have nowhere to store it til we move in a couple of months, but I have been buying lots of newborn and 0-3 months basics. I was mainly looking at mothercare and matalan for baby clothes but just had a look through next babywear and I love it - so cute and trendy!
Also got a whole bunch of freebies - all the emmas diary ones this weekend and that was fun opening the packs - it was like xmas come early lol
Got my changing bag too, got the twins pink lining one but am now thinking its way too big, so will probably save that for weekend trips and get a smaller yummy mummy one - really looking forward to filling it with teeny nappies and clothes.
Been looking at buying bottle sets too but finding it all a bit confusing - and if im finding it confusing what will baby think! I need a bottle buying guideWe got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

Just de-lurking, Mogwai, I wouldn't buy a big batch of one type of bottle in all honesty. I did, and it was a bit of a disaster. I went though a whole set of TT, Avent, Dr Brown and then MAM before we got on that he would take too. Spent an absolute fortune.
I would get a couple of different brands and if they work then get more. The teats are all different and we had a lip tie here and he just wouldn't take from some, he'd take an oz and then that was it. When we eventually got onto the MAM ones he'd actually take a full feed it was like a revelation :jThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
thanks gilly - i already have one avent freebie and 1 mam freebie bottle and my aunt is getting us TT steriliser starter set so maybe ill try out these 3 and see which he takes to..! actually it will save me the hassle of making a decision if baby just makes it for me! :TWe got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.
