A GP is unlikely to refer you to a chiropractor as it's considered a complementary therapy. Personally I wouldn't go near complementary therapists at the best of times let alone if I were pregnant. If your back's very bad ask to see a physiotherapist or an osteopath. Or sign up for pregnancy pilates."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

Oooh, congratulations Msnigella! So happy for you. Welcome bigbird.
Well, I had my review yesterday and it would seem baby is growing just fine, it's just me who's small. Had to wait around a long time though and I had to give ANOTHER blood sample as they didn't label the last one correctly so couldn't test it. Feel much better now and they have at least put my mind at rest. They said they will still monitor me so have made another appointment for 37 weeks. I'm not really sure that will make any difference however.
Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend. X0 -
Good news Claretsgirl about baby growing well. Shame about the extra blood test though ... booo.

Hi Claretgirl, good to hear your baby is growing well, shame about the blood test though, I had that happen to me 3 times and just never went back for a 4th in the end! (it was only to check for iron levels)
Just bought my pram, :T we were at the babyshow today and bought the icandy peach 2 in silver - can't wait to get it though it'll be a long wait
Also picked up other things at a good discount e.g. medela swing pump at £80 which i can only find cheapest at £95..all in all was a really nice day and recommended if you have lots of things to buy (its still on tomorrow) :TWe got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

Hi ladies, I'm 18+5 and I'm still not sure if I've felt bubs yet.
I'm sure I felt something with ds earlier than this!
I've looked at my notes from my 12 week scan and can't see anything about where my placenta.
Think in maybe just freaking myself out as my scan isn't until 22 weeks and I won't ave seen or heard bubs since 12 weeks.0 -
Thanks lazywife and mogwai, I thought things would probably be ok as I held my last two small (albeit a long time ago!).
Good news about the pram mogwai, it's all getting real and exciting now isn't it. I think I've now got everything apart from the baby!
Anderson8, try not to worry. I didn't feel anything until almost 22 weeks and this is my third! I'm sure you'll feel better after your scan, or more than likely baby my surprise you with kicks before then. X0 -
Thanks, guess it doesn't matter how many you've had. You never stop worrying.0
