Congrats msnigella - was she your first? That is really early, Im secretly hoping mine comes early (and healthy of course!)
Im starting to wash baby clothes for the hospital bag today (I know Im early, but I just want to see the baby clothes hanging out to dry)
Also going to the baby show tomorrow at excel with my sister (also preggers) so hoping I get to try out lots of prams and have a look at other bits and bobs in the flesh...and also get loads of freebies! We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

Saffagal I had an appt with my chiropractor and that really helped with my leg and back pains (dont think its spd but I couldnt walk for a few days) and that really helped too..I think I'll start going weekly in the last 2 months to keep limber as they are really expensive! £30 per 10 min session eek
He also generally recommended all pregnant women doing lots of back strenghtening exercises as soon as possible to prepare for the impending load of the third trimester which makes sense to me - one good one is to lie on your back on the bed with your knees bent, and raise your bottom off the bed and hold for 10 seconds. Repeat 10 times. We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

I'm wondering whether to ask GP for a chiropractor referral as then I can go private and get 80% paid for through my health insurance... My back is starting to ache already and the midwife said it would get bad due to the natural curve in my back0
