My Mum had it and delivered my little brother at 32 weeks, I developed it in my pregnancy and delivered at 27 weeks and was told it tends to run it families (hope I'm not scaring you!) Hi Jannine, thanks for your input. I have read in various places that with strong family history your risk is high which is why I've mentioned it, on more than one occasion. I was very concerned in second trimester as I was constantly suffering from headaches but no one medically was bothered so now I'm monitoring myself closely and the slightest hint of it then I go and get checked out.

Looks like we should be home by the end of this week! Just need to get two things done and we'll be on our way. One being getting Dewi to latch again.

Thank you for your reply Marta... I will investigate the site. If you could let me know how you get on with the wrap it would be appreciated.

Had a get together last night with a few people from our nct class... Was really lovely, ended up not getting home til about 11ish!

Had a very restless night, think the baby may have moved down slightly because I had twice as many loo breaks in the night! I'm now sat in bed drinking a cup of tea whilst my DH is snoring beside me!!!

Think I'm going to try and finish the baby's room today. DH has built the furniture now, so going to arrange it, put bits away and make a list of stuff we still need. We've got the essentials but not toys, play mats or chair.

I also think I should probably pack my hospital bag... Been meaning to do it for ages, but it just doesn't seem real enough... Although I have worked out that within 5.5 weeks we will def have a baby!!!!

Hope everyone has a good day... Labour vibes to rups and any other boldies.

I'm going shopping for the other thing on my baby list - big daughter's first birthday presents (since I'm due the week after her birthday they come under the category of baby preparation as I'm determined she's not getting forgotten in the kerfuffle)!

Thanks for letting us know that Rups is still around Bamama, bet you can't wait to get home with Dewi. How are you recovering? Are you still in the hospital with him?

elisabeth - how exciting sorting out the nursery. I've told DH this morning that from next week we are starting to be more organised and sorting stuff out for the baby, our stuff is just stuffed in a corner of the nursery at the moment.

Morning ladies...how are you? Been bit more chatty which is great..

Im still here..sigh.. no sign if little one yet. Too cosy in inside me. Sm going to get dressed and head out for a walk soon. I really want to meet bubs now..oh well might be the induction route soon. Thanks for asking after me ladies. Xxx

Have a new phone so was trying to find the forum on here. Took me ages now. Know whst to do though..labour vibes to other boldies too and hope ur all doing well.

I packed my bags very early on. Lol. Also managed to download one hypno track on my phone which i may use or just use visualization too. Sorry for spelling mustakes. Typing from phone. Off for a walk shortly. Xxx

Recovering well Thanks Queen_B. I've got a room for a while. Hopefully Dewi will feed. We tried just now but I have an unusual problem... as the midwife said herself, I'm producing enough milk to feed the unit! My boobs are so full he can't suck the nipple into his mouth properly. Shall express a little later then feed so boobs aren't solid lol.

Why doesn't anyone mention blood loss and bowel movements after birth? I won't share unless anyone wants to know bit it's deffo not what I expected!

oh do share bamama. its better to know about stuff! hope you are well btw. meant to message you but my phone is charging up. already am clocking the battery on it. hehe. actually the thing me and dh mentioed to the nct teacher was about the placenta bit after birth too. had no idea about it coming out with a contraction as well till we learnt about it.. so does one end up getting constipated after birth? i know one of the nct girls had a transfusion after she gave birth.
