Poor tabby cat - hope he's feeling better soon missmonkeymoo - thanks for the tip on the grape flakes - will have a look out for them today. I know the grape nuts themselves are available in all of the supermarkets and are actually cheaper in the others than in Asda according to mysupermarket, but the Asda we were in yesterday wasn't very good and didn't have a lot of things my usual one does.

Just helped Moon fill out his paternity form - good job I did, as the due date on my MatB1 form says 28th September (my original due date) rather than 23rd September (the date given at my dating scan) so he'd have been in a right pickle if he'd put the wrong one down.

Looks like another nice day weather-wise today so going to try and get some more washing done - we have a mountain of the stuff, and that doesn't even include doing all of the baby bedding and clothes etc which I'll leave until tomorrow as hopefully Moon will build the drawers tonight.

Alamaya welcome! Like the others have said if certain things didn't work last time, don't feel pressured. I know there's lots of encouragement to breast feed etc. I'm not trying reusable nappies, maybe later on.
KatyLiz hugs, hope you managed to rest. Think I was just going to bed at that time!

Hugs KatyLiz - hope you feel better soon!

I've got a cold somehow following the brilliant weather yesterday (so I've got both a cold and patches of sunburn!! I wasn't even in the sun long, just shows how unused to sun we've become in this part of the country!!) so feeling a bit sorry for myself. It's not too bad, just feels like my head is stuffed full of cottonwool, thankfully, but I guess there's something in this immune suppression during pregnancy lark after all.

Morning all. Feeling a bit miserable. Back pain. I keep on waking DH up, he is getting grumpy as he is a really light sleeper. I think I might be the only person in the country who is NOT pleased to see warmer weather. Cankles anyone?

We have got Ikea drawers in the nursery, it was a spare room and we bought them when we moved in, so they have hardly been used. I want a little wardrobe really, to hang all the little dresses I have bought in the sales up

My ankles and feet are absolutely huge Taadaa, not good.

I'm so tired today after the weekend but I'm also feeling restless and like I want to be doing stuff around the house, not sure which feeling will win yet.

I know how you feel, I am knackered as well, and I have barely done anything all weekend. It's so frustrating when you want to get on with things but also just want to veg on the sofa.

An ebay question for the more worldly wise than me.... there seem to be an awful lot of people on ebay selling brand new with tags items from various shops (and nothing else, no used clothes or anything). Now I get that if you go and buy it all on dirt-cheap sale and then sell it on at a slight premium, you'll make money. But it seems to me you could also shoplift them and sell them on?? Am I just too cynical? (I've concluded I really need to get shopping after seeing how many clothes some ofyou have and I have about 4 items so far )

Well yes that could be the case, but you will never know for sure. Unless it arrives with a security tag on it!

Don't forget that relatives like to buy things and as tastes are different, things not liked or suitable will get sold on unworn. I am fully expecting to get quite a few bits from DH's family that I won't like - practically every Christmas and birthday present they have ever bought me has ended up on eBay or in a boot sale.
