I need that hunky man too! :0)

    Welcome alamaya, and congratulations. :)

Well I think we all those moments with our DH's and Oh's, but to be fair today mine has become some cleaning fairy and as i havent been feeling 100%, he has done quite a lot. He mowed the grass and even did the washing up, hoovered upstairs and ironed his shirts. quite a lot for me to be honest lol. now he is sitting in his cave 'writing' or browsing facebook or twitter (I am sure of that). Have left him to it. His parents were here earlier and brought the brother in law. ype he will still be here for a few weeks, but he is sweet so can cope. Then stupidly DH made a comment that he asked his ex-boss who has a 6 month old baby now, whether he went to antenatal classes to check out other women's t-ts!! apparently his exboss told him not to bother as you dont see anything! hpw chlidish!! I went livid! DH needs growing up!

He wriggled a bit then they turned the music up and the bass made him go mental. We only stayed an hour so the poor thing didn't have to put up with it for too long ;)

Don't worry silly moo you'll be ok just try to stay calm. My thoughts are with you. I hope it goes well and just think you will finally have your baby at the end of it! Try to stay positive.

Hugs to you and anyone else that needs them. I am feeling so much more positive today as we got a lot done for the house (won't bore you with the details) and the sense of achievement has really lifted me! I'm also reminding myself that I've been very lucky to have a straightforward pregnancy (touch wood) and any extra time I have now is important for relaxing. Hope these kinds of thoughts also help you Clarissa and Robyn.

I thought I had posted earlier but obviously didn't click the right button :(

Lots of labour vibes to all the boldies.

Moneypuddle sorry you and others are having problems with OH, I know it is different but it is also a scary time for them. (There devils advocate out of the way :))

Thank you everyone for your well wishes about yesterday, it didn't go anywhere near as badly as I was expecting and feeling a bit better that we are now actually getting things prepared somewhat. OH has been great and tidied the house. I have a list of things to do and he kept looking at it and wandering off to do it. I am very lucky.

We are also getting the Malm, we have a tall one with a mirror which we have had for years and are looking to get the large chest of draws in beech to match the other. Off to check the measurements not before spending the monies.

We are another one with the ikea drawers for bubs room, we already had a chest in our bedroom in dark brown and were really happy with them so decided to go for the white ones.

I'm also getting a wooden toy box from ikea which I intend to paint the jungle animals from the nursery on and use it to store all the wipes etc I've got so far. Have also bought an mdf cube money box which will be painted white and have an animal painted on each side for bubs room :)

Kitten I'm glad your feeling better about the baby stuff and starting to look forward to it all :)

I can't believe I'm totally awake at this hour. I've got a dodgy tummy and do not feel good. I've just realised it's taken me nearly an hour to write this post as I keep going to the bathroom. I've had problems with a bad tummy quite often in this pregnancy. Normally I can eat anything and feel fine, but not at the moment. My son will be up in two hours so it doesn't look like I'll be getting any sleep tonight.

Those MALM drawers are popular! We were looking at these the other week when we there and intending on going back to get them in October. After looking at the lovely dark pine cotbed in Babiesrus I started to change my mind and wanted a proper dark pine set, but after considering the cost of changing my daughter's existing furniture I've gone back to the idea of the white MALM. It matches everything we already have and I've seen a tiny white cot that I want in Kiddicare that will match too.

Alamaya - welcome to the thread. If you didn't enjoy breastfeeding/ cloth nappies last time don't feel under any pressure to use them this time. Do whatever is best for you. If you do really want to try again though, I'm sure your midwife will have details of support groups.

emsbet - glad you had a good time. I can't even stay awake past 11pm, let alone manage a nightclub, so you're doing well!

Sexymouse I always used to get Grape Nuts from Sainsburys as they were the only place that sold them but ironically now that they have bought Grape Flakes out they are only available in Asda and Morrisons! They can be hidden on the shelves though - they are predominantly white boxes; the grape buts are a small box whilst Grape Flakes are a little taller than your average cereal box size.

Had a good weekend; flooring is now nearly finished (only a few little sections left to do) so we are definitely getting there with the house now! have found the furniture we want for the nursery too at a good price on ebay and have a courier arranged to pick it up if we win so fingers crossed on that one! Can't believe that we only have about 7 weeks left though, I know that we are still going to be sorting things out in the days before LO arrives! Only downside to this weekend - daft tabby cat is poorly. Vets had put him on a biscuits only diet cos he was a bit overweight and I was worried about this leading to him getting cystitus but they told me that the risks outweighed the benefits. We were really pleased with him cos he has lost the weight he needed to and he seemed so much happier - but we noticed yesterday he is having trouble peeing and he went in his litter tray three times in as may minutes and there were spots of blood so he has got chronic cystitus. Had this with a previous cat so I know the symptoms and unfortunately I know the regime of prescription cat food, antibiotics etc etc. I am hoping against hope it's a one-off infection but.....

Anyway, hugs to all and labour vibes to those that need them!
