Quick update, got in at 0730 - they weren't expecting me and no labour ward beds or cots in NICU. Mix up apparently. Discussions about transfer to another specialist hospital, but at 3 beds became free so 2.5 hours ago induction started with pessary.

Not quite to plan but getting there! Pea x

Hello ladies! (and gents if there are any )

How is everyone today? I'm glad to see the thread back in the right place, much easier for me to find! I've just realised that I officially belong in this thread as i'm 25+3 today, even though i've been on here for a while now! Its amazing how quick this has all gone!

Marta Please don't feel bad, its not your fault! BF is made to sound so easy, painfree etc but the reality seems to be different for a lot of ladies!

AFM I've booked a 3d/4d scan today after an amazing deal came up on groupon for the new 4d clinic in my city. It wasnt something I was going to do but after bubs kept her legs closed for the entire 20 week scan I figured it can't hurt to have a look! I'm so excited about it, and apparently this is a good time to get it done as they still have enough room to move about and arent too squashed
Other than that i'm having a really easy (**touchwood**) pregnancy so far, heartburn almost everyday at the moment, a bit of back pain but plenty of movement from baby so i'm a happy bunny :j

ah bless dundeediva. glad to know all is ok. let us know how the scan goes. i wanted to do one but i thought if i do,i might end up finding out what sex the baby is and we didnt want to so left it. they are so cool those scans. wonder how peas is getting on?

just been thinking as bubs is moving that i am ready ready ready to meet bubs. was ironing his/her clothes earlier and just wishing that this little person fills them in soon. cant wait now.. i am glad my fear is sort of going as was terrified a few weeks ago. calmness cd is working. phew.

Evening!

I've been to a workshop on breast feeding this afternoon and come back and we are chatting about it on here! I have come back feeling informed and confident that I am going to try and give it a go. Have all the support details written down in an accessible place as I think support will make or break me with it when the going gets tough.

So we had a play with foam boobies and dolls and it was another great socialising event, can honestly say that I am looking forward to meeting up with everyone once all our babies are here and I haven't even done my NCT classes yet.

I am super excited for to Bamama and Rups that you are both so close to meeting your babas. I think the Christmas/new year period is going to be a quiet one on here.

Congrats Aidaglad mummy and baby are well.

Glad you are on the 'move' Pea, hope the rest of your labour goes swimmingly

Every day that passes I worry more, I keep getting irrational that there's something wrong and I should have noticed it by now. I'm almost OCD with counting movements!
I suppose it doesn't help I can't move either far or fast with this SPD, so I can't even get things ready the way I want them.
Sorry ladies, just fancied a moan tonight x

awwh thanks queenb. hugs.. glad you had fun at the workshop. i actually miss our nct classes as it was so much fun. the men just had a laugh lauging at the woolen booby and woolen uterus. lol. what they like?

def am getting mentally ready now and now want to meet bubs so even if bubs were to get ready to arrive now, i am more than happy. before i would just say no i am not ready and even with this cold, i am not. dont worry like bamama said, we will be here and me esp chatting some sort of nonsense. you guys have been such a sport and a pillar of strength for me and i really appreciate that, esp when i worry about silly stuff. xx

hugs hotbern! xxx keep patient sweety and it will happen. bubs is taking time but will def be there when ready. dont be hard on yourself and prob talk to bubs and ask for it to start getting ready. was reading a book yest (and i have not read many books on preg etc) but in there it said to have chats nearer the time or when you have passed your ddate and ask bubs to start moving and be positive. hugs honey xx

Evening all!

Have a super duper active baby this evening, first time she has been SO active for me (27+3 today), rather enjoying it! I saw the MW for my 28 week appt and all appears to be OK, still measuring a bit a head, but then I had a cake bump to start with

About to wave off DW and DS tomorrow for 12 days, feeling super duper sad - had a good cry about it. I suspect I will be a bit of a mess tomorrow. Argh, can't even think about being on my own tomorrow

I *hate* being without them.
