Might be worth talking to your local hospital or your midwife Rups :) At our antenatal class at the weekend that was all about active birth they told us about being able to hire a tens machine from them & I think it's about £20 for 4wks or something. The midwife said you need to make sure it's a specific antenatal tens wherever you get one from, can't remember why though :)

Awwww dizzi, that's so cute! I currently have a cat curled up around the bottom of my bump who seems very content with little intention of moving & I'm starting to want a drink! The other two furries are currently lounging around the Xmas tree looking like they have every intention of having some fun with the baubles, it's like having a pair of toddlers to supervise around the tree! :)

I'd maybe give the labour ward a ring then Rups :) Or just give your midwife a ring? Someone should be able to help you out as to whether they hire them out or have a company they recommend you hire from :)

Might be worth using the information from your NCT class thenRups :) It's a nightmare quite how much things vary from trust to trust on the NHS!

ohh Rups, sorry can not help with the name, i am not familiar with angloindian names... We have chosen Jade BUT i get to name her this time around, and i am thinking that my family( spanish speaking) will have it dificult pronouncing the J and the final d, they will pronounce something like shay. I am thinking Valentina or Nicole, i really want to choose something that "I" really like, cos that is what OH did when he named our first DD, i was really against it, the only one i knew was a horrible bully... although at this point in life i can not imagine any other Jessica than my little girl, and she suits the nick name Jessie/Jess quite well- we call her that most of the time.
