RRups, i dyed my hair about three times after the 20th week of pregnancy. Once with the Holland &Barrett dyes, which are natural and have no ammonia, and twice with normal hair dye, like the XXL Live colours. With these ones, I just tried to have the room well ventilated, put the dye quickly and go to a well ventilated room for the waiting time.
Mw came today,my baby has gained some weight, still under the birth weight but she's 7 days, so there's still time to gain a bit more before the 10th day, when they'll weight her again. A breastfeeding counsellor is coming tomorrow to help, I expressed about 0.25 Oz last night in 40min... when a normal feed should be around the 3.00 Oz. She's having around 1 Oz at the moment every 2h, but yesterday was 0.5 oz, so she's improving. I hope my milk supply gets better and I can switch back to breast, she's having the teats for 2months, which drip, instead of the newborn ones.
I'm emotionally down, though. And the lack of sleep and being in pyjamas the whole day does not help.
Morocha, I am glad you feel better. I had the same issue with the name, my family is Spanish, his family is English. We chose Victoria but I had in the running: Anna, Emma, Rebecca, Sophia, Amanda.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

Marta, you are doing great. If i can give you any advice, it would be, try to get out at least few minutes a day, the fresh air will do you good.
I am saying this cos I spent the first 12 weeks in my pijamas with DD, i was feeding her every hour and i was just so tired i couldnt be bothered with anything. I regret not doing it and being in pyjamas does not do much for your self esteem, I ended up with PND. Anyway i bet you are tired, still feel sore and your hormones are crazy in this point, but do try to do a little thing for you every day... I remember when i finally had a shower, it felt like such an achivement ! I am glad you will have some help with BF.

RUPS - No problem about hair dye. I couldn't go 9 months without dealing with my greys! I asked several hair dressers and they all said you can dye your hair with any type of dye, but to be aware that it may take a little quicker than normal and might be a slightly stronger shade than when not pregnant.0

Go for it ... you don't want to be looking back at those post-birth piccies with your newborn and wishing you had coloured your hair (says a woman who speaks from experience!)0 -

I have terrible back pain. Lower right hand side mainly... sort of like when I had a water infection. Lying in bed and I swear I can baby's shoulders in my pelvis... last MW did tell me they were low down.
Wondering what the back pain is about as I've done nothing all day, even had a nice long bath. Started around 5 and is still hurting0 -
Evening all!
So, after not really feeling much movement last night, I felt grotty and not myself this morning, and still no movement, so I rang the hospital, and went in at 1pm.
Waited for an hour, then were seen. Worst moment was when the midwife used hand held doppler to listen for heartbeat, in case there wasn't any, rather than the big machine
On monitoring machine for an hour, good heartbeat but still no movement, so midwife got me to sit up and gave me a cold drink, which seemed to work as he decided to move 3 times in half hour, so she was satisfied and I could go home.
He's much better this evening for some reason, so I'm happy again, though I do have to have a stretch and sweep tomorrow which I'm not looking forward to!June 2009 - Wii; December 2009 - Fortnum & Mason Hamper; 2009 - Little Red Tractor DVD; How to afford time off work book; April 2010 - Mamas & Papas Pram; May 2010 - Imperial Leather Goodies; Jan 2011 - Trivial Pursuit cards; Narnia goodies; VTech cot mobile (stopped comping!) ok ladies i need some help please? it might be tricky as i have tried to do some research online. if we are to have a boy, i have asked well told dh i would like an anglo indian name in there.. we have sort of agreed on something English but its the ango indian name that is bugging me. there are not many out there, and the ones i have come up with are in the family, so i am stuck. could someone help out please? i really Rohan but its taken.... I also like Kiran but its a no. i liked Neel but dh said it reminds him of this pervy guy.. so can someone help please?
Have you tried googling 'Anglo Indian names' there are quite a few! Ajay, Asher, Samir (Sam), Neel, Harinder (Hari) are just some.
Good luck! I tried looking for ages for an Anglo Burmese name, but there really weren't any, apart from Dara (which makes me think of Dara O'Brian the comedian!)June 2009 - Wii; December 2009 - Fortnum & Mason Hamper; 2009 - Little Red Tractor DVD; How to afford time off work book; April 2010 - Mamas & Papas Pram; May 2010 - Imperial Leather Goodies; Jan 2011 - Trivial Pursuit cards; Narnia goodies; VTech cot mobile (stopped comping!)
