lol yeah i know.. hehe.. i amnormally eating for the world. weird thing is the doc did ask me whether iw as eating and i said yes. as soon as i came home till now havent felt hungry so am like uh oh. i wil try and eat something. i am sure i cant last very long hehe. glad your cold is getting sorted. i went to see him after over a week. i dont want this cold longer now. went and bought some olbas so will do something with that nearer bedtime.

How soft am I rups? I went after 2 days lol couldn't cope with having to work and having a cold and ear ache though. Took my first anti biotic so hope the stabbing pains in my ears stops soon

You are not soft honey. Having an ear ache is nasty anyway and i wouldnt be able to cope. Its like a toothache I am struggling though so will see and head back for antibiotics if nothing changes. just the throat is yuck and nose is runny. I cant even taste and smeall things got a bit bored of sitting so decided to wash up and take a few baby things upstairs and now i have a back ache. i am so useless. lol. last night i got a bit annoyed at my mum because she keeps telling me to be active and i am trying but if i get tired what can i do?:( she doesnt understand the concept of one travelling up to london to work on public transport and she started sayuing how the midwives in her ward are heavily pregnant and still working. so i got really annoyed at her! grrr

Everyone is different - don't let anyone tell you how lazy or unlazy you should be. If you know you are doing all that you have energy for then thats all that matters. I'm sure your mum would have something to say if you were over doing it everyday.

You'll be doing plenty of running around when the little one arrives.

It's what I keep thinking anyway! I'll leave you with this, my oh's mum quit her job as soon as she found she was pregnant!! 8 months of nothingness every day lol. That's lazy!

BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME EVER.

Got to hospital early. 1pm. Poked belly. Baby in perfect delivery position. Put me on a monitor. Baby fast asleep and I was so uncomfortable, hate sitting straight ish. Baby eventually woke so they were happy.

Wait for doctor. Just gone in for a section. 2.10pm. Go have food and come back in half hour.

Egg mayo baguette and a hot chocolate. Back up 2.45pm. More waiting.

4pm. Lecture from doc to take pills. No point doing infusion/transfusion whats-it as it takes time to work. Get midwife to repeat bloods Friday.

If I can get my levels to 10 I can give birth in my local. They came back 9.2 from yesterday.

Home now and I'm totally deflated. Suppose I learnt one positive thing... baby is in the right place and she could only feel shoulders got a funny look when i said no to her asking if I've had tightenings. Maybe I'm missing them? Lol.

They're nasty - I had one so bad (and hubby made out I was making a fuss out of nothing) that I ended up with a perforated eardrum from the sheer amount of cack in there trying to get out... doctor's comment "go home and slap your husband for saying there was nothing wrong with you!"

Working through washing/sorting/boxing the mountain of baby clothes now - boxing up into sizes (bearing in mind I've got up to 6-9 kept back from my first girl and then up to 2 years stockpiled in advance there's a lot to sort out) and washing the smaller sized ones (I figure I'll do prem/newborn in advance) and labelling what's in every box so I don't need to get loads out to find 0-3 babygros or whatever. Not keeping clothes back this time - when they're outgrown they're going off to the charity shop!

Evening Ladies, sorry i haven't posted very much, was hoping to post more whilst on the start of my maternity leave but my little bundle of joy put in a surprise appearance on my leaving day. My little boy was born on 6th December weighing 6lb 3oz.

Congratulations to all the other new mummies and good luck to everyone else.

There's been far too many babies being born this week... I'm so jealous and yet so far to go!! grrr

On a happier note after 11 tonight I have 11 shifts left until I am on maternity leave and quite frankly it can't come quick enough!!

i agree mrshaworth and i told her off a bit and then felt bad. she cant compare people and tell me stuff. she even said when she was preg she was on all fours mopping the floor etc and i said well that was you! you didnt have to go into work and walk around etc. oh well each to their own but i am nt putting pressure on myself to go mad and kill myself. can only do what ican. thanks for listening though.

congrats cupcake on the birth of your little one. when you have some time, please put up a pic so we can see?:)

well this afternoon, been very uncomfy. been for 3 number two's already. sorry tmi and just cant walk around. think the morning walk caused me this too.. so washing up was a huge effort and am just sat on my as-s now. lol. hope everyones ok. x
