Thanks for listening to my rant.. just felt so annoyed. well more upset than annoyed. he says he understands what i am going through. yeah right! he keeps 'joking' that I am on holiday and should bake cakes and stuff. his comments today just p-ssed me right off..yesterday he said i better not feel this hungry after the baby. you know his family are obsessed with weight and obv looking good, which isnt a bad thing but come on, there is a limit. my dh isnt even big yet he keeps getting told that he needs to lose weight so he has been dieting and has lost so much weight. now the expectation is on me. dont want to do it for him. want to do it for me.. i know i am massive now but let me deal with it. i cant stop feeling hungry. :(

also now have heartburn and a cold coming up.. great! :(

If you can, breastfeed. The weight just falls off. It's awesome! And with no effort at all - unless you count getting your boobies out 12 times a day as effort :D

Marta - I can't say I was itchy/in pain with thrush, just had bad discharge. I'd still recommend popping to your GP.

Fluff - does it really fall off that fast? I'm going to have to try hard to remain a healthy weight.

Rups - it's true about men not finding pregnant wives so sexy. Don't dwell on it too much. Some of my male friends seem to quite like the bump :P though some of them I think are now just looking at my newly developed cleavage XD

Bubs will love it. There's nothing like a bit of booby to make a baby happy happy happy. Takes a few weeks to get the hang off it, obv, but even in the early difficult period, they're still so happy on the tit.

And heartburn's common throughout pregnancy, particularly towards the end as your stomach is getting more and more squeezed. If it's very bad, see your GP and get something decent like ranitidine or omeprazole prescribed.

It has for me. I weigh over a stone less than before I fell pregnant, with no changes to diet. For every lb Freddie gains, I lose one!

I know this won't be popular, but I've had the opposite problem with pregnancy in that I've consistently lost weight and that's with the fluid levels high!

But, if it makes you feel better I was very big to begin with (love the comments on the scans about difficulties viewing Walnut due to 'maternal build'). I think it's a combination of feeling sick all the time so not eating much and due to gestational diabetes having a low fat, low sugar diet.

I read the other day that weight drops off when you b00b so I was a bit worried (not that I'm really skinny) but DH said 'that's ok, you've still got lots of fat left from before you got pregnant'

Luckily I love him to bits, cheeky chap :rotfl:

I do worry about being attractive to hubby, goodness knows what body will look like after all of this :o

Woo morocha. Can't wait to see your bump! Called to see my boss today, she told me I look huge lol.

Just had a thought... I won't have done any harm "expressing" last night would I? Noones shown me how but righty was so painful and lumpy. It feels normal now though.
