Waiting for mobile phone company to phone me. DD has a new phone and it was replaced after the first day with a new handset - then the direct debit they sent me was too high - they were supposed to phone me yesterday afternoon but did not.
DD now says the new handset goes black so maybe it is the sim card!
If they do not ring me by 3p.m. then i will be ringing them with words like "unfit for purpose" and misleading advertising - may throw in breach of contract for good measure!!!!!
No idea what to make for tea - maybe pasta in a tomato and herb sauce as that should be quick.
Hugs to all.

Greetings to you all, I am still ill and could not go to CAB today. I hate that because we operate an appointments system and now the manager will have the headache to redistribute them  . Will this sore throat ever go ?
(although my very gravelly voice has tempted me to earn some extra money on adult chat lines...:p ).
It is still very cold here, time for warmth I say. Well, must go and drink yet another hot drink. For those lamenting about ironing, my 8 and 10 year old children do all their own and this has made it ever so much easier for me. No harm in learning proper life skills, they will thank me in the long run. To be honest, they are so used to it there is moaning either ( also clean their own rooms). Have a good day you all, will check this thread later.SSB0 -
Afternoon Guys!
Feeling lousy again..throat is sore and croaky and have a temperature...feel totally fed up with myself..but good news is that DD went back to school today:j :jI have bascally slept all this morning and yesterday:rolleyes:
Managed 2 washloads and have been dried on the line today...cold but great for clothes drying;) DW will go on soon and toilet scrubbed. OH has nearly finished the tiling this morning and has put the new energy saving light up in the kitchen and painted the ceiling.....as you can see, he is feeling much better now.
Received the cheque from the old cleaning company this morning ( I gave him a deadline!) for the full amount:D....with no letter of apology. Will print up all the email correspondance and file it all together for future referance.
Have done 28 auctions for Ebay onto Turbolister for the next 5p listing day. Have a few more bits that need to be added, but thought if I did just 5 items a day...thats alot! Have done very well this month, but we must do a bootsale soon as its taking over the office!
Dinner is Creamy pork chops with mash and veg.
Hugs to all.

Hey all!!!
Many thanks to all those with things crossed!! Those with crossed eyes - beware of trip hazards!!!
Drove 20 miles home and back in lunch break to dig out extra documents to sent to the mortgage folks. Anyone have any idea how long it takes from them getting the cheque for the survey to them actually sending someone out? Was a bit like some kind of spoof... LOL
More hugs to the poorly people (})

I'm not a mum either. Don't really want to be! Like other people's kids, just have never fancied having my own. Am happy being Mad Aunty Lou.And i sympathise The Eskimo's Donger with lazy flatmates! Have just moved into a studio flat after 12 years of sharing. Bliss
Hello everyone! Hugs to the poorly, stressed or down people. :grouphug: And hurrah  to those that have had good news.
Busy busy still at work-students hand their final year projects in on Friday:j dunno about them, but i can't wait for them to finish! Have also been busy sorting out my lovely little flat. I love it! It's all still such a novelty to have a whole fridge freezer to myself. Lots of room for bulk cooking and freezing.

Wow, congratulations Loubee! I bet you feel great having your own place, for things to stay tidy and everything to be just how you want it... Hopefully I'll make it in a little over a year.
Hopefully staying in and playing guitar most of the time will not only enable me to buy a place but also to become an international rock god and earn MILLIONS!!! :rotfl:I am not really an Eskimo. I can hear what you're thinking... "Inuit!"0 -

Well, just sat and caught the end of the budget whilst LO had a sleep, doesnt look like much for me in it, or anyone else for that matter but never mind.
LO and i went to Tescos and Asda this morning, also to the pet shop, which is a big favourite with LO. Bought the latest James Bond in Asda for £7, so a good gift for DS, if i can keep it for then!!!!
Right, going to read a book to LO, then collect my 2 from school (yes, im a mum too!!!!!).
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0
