Evening everyone :hello:
Lovely to see some new posters! Welcome. :j :j
Nice to see you back jw :j :j
Well, I'm typing this whilst listening to Stuart Maconie on Radio 2. Forget Chris Evans, SM makes me laugh something chronic. I got his new book the other day called: Pies and Prejudice, In search of the north. I've started to read it and I highly recommend it. There are just some bits in it that are works of brilliance.
Employment prospects may well be looking up for me. In the school that I was in today, they asked me whether I'd go in on Monday for an "informal chat" about a Year 3/4 class teaching position for one term. In this same school, two people (teachers) said to me "I'm sure I recognise you from somewhere". Sure enough, one of them had done some supply work at the school that was awful that I left in November and the other I'd had an interview with two years ago! She didn't get that previous job either!
Supper tonight is stir fry - yellow sticker turkey with lots of lovely healthy veggies!

Ds1/ds2 back from swimming, ds2 wasnt swimming much just floating really:rolleyes: he hasnt been for a couple of weeks so his confidence must be down a bit.
Just finished cleaning my bedroom, tired now!:D need to go to bed early tonight i think, am sitting here in my jammies as they are so more comfier:rotfl:
Was not amused with ds1/dh as he forgot to take his insulin when he came home which was roughly 5.30, normally 5pm but with going swimming he has tea when he comes home, but dh said to do it later:mad: flaming nerve! his blood was 3.5, what a surprise!
Hugs

Just reminding you about Whistleblower on TV tonight - about those nasty banks!
Thanks Mioliere.
I was thinking of watching The Dresden Files on Sky One at 9, but Whistleblower on BBC1 will be much better, so will watch that instead. Besides, Dresden will be repeated on Friday.

I do't know if this will allow me to post I got thrown off earlier.
OH backed my car into a concrete bollard today damage £750!!!!! Boy did I have a job not to shout scream and rave........at least he looked penitant when he told me about it.so more stress. I phoned the insurers.....we will get a courtesy car, it will be in for 3 days......but because I will not allow it to go to their preferred repairers I have to wait for the inspector to pass it....tough, I want it done by the main dealer not some back street chap in the pay of the insurers. I had one car repaired like this and the spraying did not match the oiginal paint, it went back 3 times they never did get it right, I paid for it to be done at the main dealer, perfect........
The painters are in the apartment....we could see them through the windows. I have emptied the wall cupboards today so they are ready to take down I hope she is going to do them sometime this week..........we cannot decide which ones are going where until we can get in and measure the wall space.
I did sleep better last night, but have no energy at all.....still taking pain killers, I have a regular prescription at the chemist and she remarked today that it was ages since I had called in for repeat scripts to be filled so frequently.....I have one more script then I have to see the Dr.
I forgot to put the supper on tonight, so we ended up having cold meat and salad............oh well we do not have too much longer to go, 3 weeks today we will have moved..............I will be off line from 26th NTL are closing my service then, we expected to have moved then, but I cannot be bothered to get them to put the date back, they will only make a mess up of it.
Right I am off to watch TV for a while................Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

spiddy - Top Shop - its a NO-GO unless yr between 12-19 and size 0! so I know how you feel!!! I used to shop in DPs but have to agree their stuff is not as good as it used to be - NOW i'm sounding old!! when you start worrying about the quality instead of just buying it for fashion sake:rotfl: :rotfl:

I planned my work stuffs for tomorrow in a bit of free time at work today and don't feel motivated to do the rest after a very bad end to the day which involved me crying in the car on the way home.
I'm now pretending to work but really putting numbers into various online calculators to work out how I can use my money in a way which involves savings as well as getting debt free.
Also considering next weeks menu plan even though we're only on Wednesday! Do love the menu planning thing, saves me stressing about what to make for tea.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member #398 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T

Currently awaiting the outcome of a PPI claim which may bring forward my DFD, fingers and toes crossed!0 -
Thanks for the mention! I always brown the meat and veg first in a big saucepan for about ten minutes then put it in the slowcooker - that way, the veg don't stay hard!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:
