    I had the same opinion also and never knew why I left three from a prior contract to go elsewhere. I had no prior problems with the phone reception or internet, all was great and indeed was with the two phones. The issue was purely the cancellation dept of the call centres not wanting to do their job, they even put the phone down on the staff of the three store itself, so it was not just me.

    If they had only cancelled in store like put in writing was done and fulfilled this I would have had no reason to lose faith in them at all. We now use giff gaff and have no issues there either but at least know I will not have to call the centre of three again and do not plan any further contracts so it will not happen again

    It seems as a newbie I was not aware that my thread and attitude could be pulled apart just for asking to be left alone to my mission.
    Where has your thread and attitude being pulled apart? As far as I can tell, the responses have been simply asking to to put your problem with Three as concisely as possible, maybe I'm missing something.
    I accept the thread goes on but up to you if you read it.
    If you decided its too long then please just move on and dont judge me if not read fully.

    It is not my fault threeuk were still incompetant and my attitude has been nothing other than politely insisting they help me and using twitter and email to make my cause heard.
    Where did anyone suggest it was your fault?
    I do wonder how many newbies viewing the thread today after reading some of the comments to me would perhaps view this forum as a little unfriendly. Salt into wound comes to mind, I asked for help not a lecture, but thanks all the same we shall see what happens.:)
    Where are the unfriendly comments? You haven't been lectured, simply asked to be concise so people can assess what your issue is and post something helpful if they can. Filling the best part of a page with your issue with Three isn't conducive to getting helpful responses.
    Bet threeuk are delighted I am getting a battering here, they probably are in glee that you hint my attitude could be part of the problem for daring to ask non positive posters to leave me alone.
    I doubt Three are reading this thread.

  • A fellow poster suggesting I am insane when said I have major depression is disgusting to say the least when only posting my experience, perhaps I should not have risen to it and ignored all posts I found irelevant, perhaps so. Another infering my attitude to three was like me replying to a post, nice NOT

    I have tweeted mse site hoping they will take a look at some of the posts here when possible. So much for friendly newbie treatment!!
  • blooming heck i think the title of this forum post should be the horror that is trying to read war and peace. i just started to read your forum posts and to be honest nearly fell asleep on the second post. so let me get this right you demanded both your contracts be cancelled over something silly and you wanted three to cancel them with one phone missing and the other one with a name scratched on it.

    are you serious?

    you were suicidal over a phone contract and problem you brought on yourself? sounds like three were trying to help by calling the police

    just found you on twitter and can see all you talk about is three it seems like you need to move on get a life and forget about it, you are going on and on about it. surely by what you say about three and their staff and the erratic behaviour will just prove to the police and ombudsman that you have major major issues that are not caused by three.

    my advice stop going on about it and forget it ps you must have really sore fingers by now

    For this many call centre agents to hang up the phone mid conversation suggests irrational behaviour on the phone. People don't hang up on friendly customers. Police are only brought in when crazy threats are made over the phone of by another form of correspondence so you can't expect readers to believe your emails were calm, collected and reasonable. I managed to get through your posts (most of them) and can't really work out the original reason for cancellation. Apologies I can't help my thoughts mirror those of other commenters. Hope you find less stress with another operator.

    Sorry you've had such a nightmare with 3. I was looking to take out my first ever phone contract recently and had been tempted by 3 due to unlimited data. However due to lots of negative comments on the web and here I decided against it.

    So it is worth having this thread here rather than Vent as then people like me will find it more easily.

    Don't let folk upset you Bingo. It is the nature of MSE for a percentage of posts to be anti the thread starter. It can be upsetting (especially if you care deeply about the topic you are posting about) but you just have to brush it off. These people don't know you in real life so they don't matter.

    Some of the posts here to this person are obnoxious!
    It is obvious OP came for help and states recorded the calls so surely the regulator is best placed to judge what went on,not us.
    OP has hinted is clearly vulnerable health wise and has asked for posts which do not attack personally.
    You are acting as a mob who knows how upset may be.
    Mental health is not an excuse to attack wether the issue OP or not.
    Perhaps I should try another forum as my issue was 3 also. I do not need the same treatment as this person.
    I work in mental health so can see started to struggle when considered first response was annoyed at presentation of thread.
    OP forgive me but I think a good reason to leave this thread is the very responders acting as if to help, they seem only interested in upset you. Leave the thread till have response from regulator if I were you.
    Why take delight from someone in Op position. I do hope you leave the thread for the OP as requested and never find yourself under a similar strain.
    3 do seem to have many posts stating it is customer service that fails them, they hopefully if come here might get less judgement perhaps?

    I agree and Bingo depression is not something to apologise over, anyone for example me would want to scream after reading your story. Post above quoted is first that has attempted to genuinely reply.I hope MSE look into such poor attacks!
