Still waiting for mine to arrive.Am i right in thinking that i will need to buy a sd card to get this to work in english if it turns up as a frenchie model ?

Managed to get mine working with TomTom software.

Would only work from the flash disk, not from the SD Card as it came up with exception errors. Also had to drop GPS comms speed down to 1200 as the signal kept dropping out.

I managed to convert mine from French to English without an SD card (Took me 6 hours though!!)

LiGhTfasT - HELP !. I followed your instructions as per post #423. I copied the file .#menu.xml.1 and made the amendments/insertions (ie reset etc) as suggested but am not getting Navigator Icon on my device. Do I delete the last few lines in the file?

If the icon is not there then it cannot see the tomtom executable file. make sure tomtom navigator.exe is there and the script points to that file & location

Think your file has also become renamed - should be menu.xml not menu.xml.1

Hi, i was lucky enough to get one of these from Tescos and i am pleased with it, except that i have tried to add european maps from my previous Medion, but they apper to be in a different format.
Can anybody advise me exactly what file format of map i need (France & Spain) and where i can get them from and at what price.
If anybody does have these maps and doesnt want them i'd be happy to purchase them .Please PM me

How do i delete everything from the My Flash Disk directory, as it won't let me delete the Audiomanager file in a folder, and another one.
