Hi Savingwannabe, I applied the repair glue to the boots (Stormsure) and left it to set so i will try them out tomorrow will probably have to wade through some muck at some point and that will be the test! It seemed to work really well, not sure if anyone has heard of this before but it's supposed to be brilliant for repairing tents, horse rugs waterproof jackets etc. I'm quietly confident that i may get another 6months out of these boots!
It's Wed already and savings are all still in tact, am gonna enjoy the feeling of having NOT spent any of these savings :TRegular saver £200 Saving for emergency fund (£2000)

We are both in our 40s, we started off with a big ZERO, shared a small table chair in an empty house with nothing but the shirts on our backs.
Six Years later and we have our own home, car, all mod cons, plenty of savings in the bank and have at least two holidays a Year.
It takes time, but by taking one step at a time, its possible to start from the bottom rung and climb to the top.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Well done on savings oldtractor sorry to hear about rug but at least horsey is ok.
Congrats on being paid Wanttobesaver! It's a great feeling.
I am sticking to my limit of £120 spending this month. So far so good. I am paying by cash so I can check and feel when I spend money. This is better for me as I think whether I really need something.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
