Oldtractor i think you may be on to something there! I have been eyeing up a pair of dunlops for £8.99 but i think my "borrowed" pair may be even better as they belong to someone who left a few years ago so don't think she wants them and such a shame for them to be left i will put them to good use. Am off to the cinema tonight for a date with Mr Grey.... I'm going to blame the film choice on my friend! Although when did a cinema ticket cost £11.20?!?! I could buy the DVD and popcorn for that! It had better be good....
Wow, I thought the pictures were expensive here just creeping up to £10!savingwannabe wrote: »Hi old tractor, 166million and wanttobesaver,

Hooray for Payday - tonight at midnight I think!!!!:rotfl::money:
Not sure I started this -that's thanks to lala22 (not seen since! But I did keep it going when things were quiet).
Hi to all newbies -great to have you along!
A good payday as I had miscalculated my hours. Thinking I was on the lower scale this month. This will top up my savings and pay back the slight overspend from this month. oops!
Will update once everything has been transferred and I can check my figures.
Money saving vibes to all!

Ok so my payday today, DH gets paid in 2weeks so we always do the budget in 2 halfs. Managed so far to put £30 into the laptop/ clothes fund and when DH gets paid i'm hoping to add £50 to that and £100 to my Regular saver.
But lets not get ahead of ourselves haha.
My challenge to make this work is to keep grocery and petrol spending to £100 for the two of us till the 13th.......EASY i hear you all cry!!!
so far 20/100 (car filled with petrol) will be going T'aldi and Mr T tomorrow with list and meal plan in hand.Regular saver £200 Saving for emergency fund (£2000)

Stay away from the enticement of fleabay! Look at how lovely your kitchen fund looks with £40.50 in there!! :T
I dropped my bronzing powder on the bathroom floor this AM thus leaving me with the dilema of either buying a cheapo one now or holding off and being a bit pastey in the face until next week when i can splash out on my fav (expensive) one, bless my DH he has given me £10 towards it as a mothers day treat, i won't count this as savings though as its going to be spent next week. Just shows though that day to day mishaps can chip chip away at those savings......and no! spending on ebay cannot be classed as a mishap! :rotfl:
Still not repaired my boots i bet you are all on the edge of your seats waiting to find out the fate of those!
