The OP was obviously hoping for some advice or suggestions.razorbladekisses wrote: »I find it quite rude when someone posts a question/asks for advice and only acknowledges those replies that they were hoping for. Why post for advice in the first place if you aren't willing to see different POVs *sigh*

Some people gave him advice and were thanked. You didn't and weren't.
Where is the problem?0 -

** THANKS ** - I'd love to. The problem is that the courier picked up from my address and so my info is available to him - so he knows where I live and I know where he lives. The problem is I've got the misses and my 2 little ones there and I wouldn't want a visit to them while I'm not at home.0 -
Why are you looking for praise?Martin0

Its an USA no..... I shall try and get hold of an UK number for you. I know theres one available.0 -
I'm not looking for the OP to click the thanks button.
My point is that if someone has taken time to reply to your post the least you can do is acknowledge it, instead of just totally ignoring it and only replying to those who obviously agreed with what you believed in the first place. Whether or not you agree is irrelevent. IMO it's just common courtesy-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

True, defiantly not worth it then!:beer:0 -
I'm sorry to be blunt, but that is utter nonsense.razorbladekisses wrote: »My point is that if someone has taken time to reply to your post the least you can do is acknowledge it, instead of just totally ignoring it and only replying to those who obviously agreed with what you believed in the first place. There are hundreds of posts each day that are not acknowledged.
What do you want?
Every time someone posts the OP has to say "Thank you for responding to my thread"?
That is not, and never has been, a part of forum protocol either here or anywhere else (that I've seen).
Threads would become filled with pointless one line acknowledgements.0
