Great thread! We're also trying out value products as part of the grocery challenge. Tesco value crisps have been approved by DH, amongst other things.
My main revelation is that Sainsbury's basics yogurts (8p each) are much nicer (and fewer calories per 100g) than their 'Be Good To Yourself' ones! They're gorgeous! The same is not true of Tesco value yogurts, also 8p. Perfectly edible but not in the same league.Have I said something useful?

Hi all, found 300g large jars of Nescafe in Asda for £4.00. Normally £5.50-£5.74 at morrisons. Hope this helps. As my other half has tried SP brands etc and hates them, I think the word was YUK! I've stocked up.
Anyone tried and tested any SP shampoo? Im normally a Pantene user as I have very dry hair and it works a treat. I usually stock up when its on offer. But I would love to find a cheaper brand that is as good as or even better.
Thanks in advance and thanks for reading this. x

Forgot to mention the Value after dinner mints - really good and if you take them out of the box nobody is any the wiser!
Also not Value but the Tesco Coconut shampoo and conditioner are really good for dry/damaged hair - really cheap and great big bottles! Only thing is my DD noticed that the shampoo bottle is the same shape/size as the Tesco Naturally washing up liquid:eek: although the not the same consistency/colour/perfume (thank God!)0
