i use iceland as my supermarket of choice. their value smoked bacon is the best in the world ; much preferred to any other brand by all who eat it at mine, just a pound a packet and loads in the pack. it isnt like other stores value bacon where the rashers are all difference sizes; this is good bacon. and i love their own tea bags as well.0

I got a can of this to try for pennies; chucked it over 2 whoopsied pork loin steaks in a casserole dish and cooked for 2 hours in a low oven (Gas 3).
Tasted really really good and I had to field a compliment and pretend to have "forgotten" the recipe.......:rotfl:Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Superdrug brand products are my latest find, and everything I've tried has been amazing. I love their coconut body wash as it smells gorgeous, and the best part is that none of the Superdrug brand stuff is tested on animals! I much prefer to use cosmetics that aren't tested on animals but thought they would cost more than branded stuff - not the case with Superdrug at all.
I love Tesco value porridge oats too, and their value soya milk is just as good as any branded stuff. The kidney beans are just fine, too.0 -
Sainsbugs is the only supermarket that sells its tinned value fruit in natural juice, rather than syrup. So always stock up on the tinned fruit when Im in there, love the stuff. Makes great easy pud for my DD.Happy days

sainsburys Basic museli is 67p a kilo and I mix it with a crushed up weetabix or some bran flakes .I met a lady a couple of weeks ago in sainsbobs and she was buying 4 bags of the stuff so i asked her if it was any good and she said it was a lot better tasing than the expensive stuff so I thought I'd give it a try and she was right its really good and at that price well worth it.Itransfer it all to a lack'n'lock box and it keeps beautifully (there are a few nuts in there for those that can't take nuts it wouldn't be any good ) but I am very pleased with it.The lady I met says she always buys 4 bags at a time as they are always running out at the store, as its so popular ,apparently 'Which' gave it as a 'best buy'0

I want to try that. It sounds good. I never usu buy muesli, as it's only normally the expensive stuff that tastes decent. Will try to remember the next time I go to Sains.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D
