Enjoyed my soak in the bath, decided on an early night even though its the weekend, on in bed trying to find a comfy position to lie in. Opened the Etat Pur Micellar cleansing water as couldn't be bothered trying to squeeze out the last of my current one will go back to it tomorrow. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend, hugs to those who need them and thank you all for being so lovely.0

Does anyone know if there are any Clarins GWPs on at the moment, please?
My bf's sister would like one of their tinted moisturizers as a b'day present, and it would be nice to get a few "extras" for her at the same time.0 -
Hugs to anyone who needs them and well dones to those going cold turkey this month.
2 UU - bothe Batise dry shampoos. Used one up this am so went to get my new 400mls can out to finish off my hair. Thought it was feeling rather light and pressed the nozzel. It is also empty. The whole 400ml can has leaked into my drawer . What a waste.
Also I finished the Davidoff Echo too. WNBA as it was fine and I did get loads of complements on it but it isn't a fav. Good for daytime as it did smell really fresh. I will need to look out another 30ml handbag size to replace it. Not sure what though. No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
It's only the 6th and 18 pages? Hi to all. Pippin, your name made me smile. My favourite Elkhound carried that name by accident. Lovely girl.
Well. I was bad. Hair cut and coloured today. Then a quick run through the Bay. Damn. Lancome attacked me. The body lotion for L'Orangerie was in stock. And there was a GWP! I really needed a coral toned blush and the sspecial edition Tangerine was out of stock, so I got a Mandarin Sky.
We don't discuss Glossy Box Canada. They ticked off most of us. The June box arrived this week. And it was a dud. Just check out their facebook page. The bonus for me was I'd chucked out the razor handle and then found a pack of four blades. So the razor worked for me.
TopBox arrives next week and theyare usually good. I'm bacck on night shift. So I can say I sleep walked to the Lancome counter....
Oh, and I've come to the conclusion that Clinique mascara's aren't worth the hype. I always wind up with racoon eyes. The stuff just won't stay on my lashes. Now if I get one in a gwp, I gift them to anyone that will take them!0 -
Just caught up with this - oh Willowbee! And SuiDreams And Mingle..
My jaw dropped this evening, the BBC news did a piece on the devastating effects that cuts in social care are having on people's lives ...FINALLY. They have completely ignored this issue for many months.
Willowbee, I subscribe to Spartacus on Facebook and also OuchToo both are marvellous sources of support. Ouch Too has stepped in to take the place of the BBC's Ouch message board. The Beeb pulled the plug on all boards not linked with programmes.
SuiDreams, boy I was mad when I read your post. Typical 'I'm all right, Jack' reaction of so many young people, not all, but far too many. Why ask if you were OK if he wasn't prepared to help, that's what I can't understand? W&%**!
Hope you were able to sleep ok and have arnica or similar to help.
Mind you I slipped on the bike ramp coming in with shopping yesterday and when I asked DS to give me a hand getting up I got a round of applause - at first.. He did lift me up but it took a few goes. (Good.. Made him struggle and he's always showing off about his strength)
I could have done it myself, but know from experience that it's difficult and painful and takes ages. I would have had to use the stairs and crawled there - crawling hurts these days.
I wasn't hurt at all as I went down quite slowly, I nearly recovered my balance but not quite. So no sympathy as it's not required.
Until I had an op to sort it, I got regular kidney infections.. give me labour pains any day. Massive sympathies.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Commiserations to those who have been in the wars the last couple of days - here's hoping for a better weekend.
Another UU to report - Aussie 3 minute miracle conditioner. WMBA it's quite good but I have bottles and bottles of various conditioners in my stash. This out takes me to 17 out so far. Most of these were splutterers, TA or GA but it is still a very good feeling to get rid of them!0 -
Forgot to report my NBI's - Non - Bought In's - a 15ml Obsession EDT spray and a Dettol Limited Edition Union Jack No Touch Handwash. The first was a raffle prize (unopened, seems OK, think it's been kept in a drawer.)
The handwash was a prize from the Great British Experiences promotion on Facebook. It's cucumber fragrance which is a lot nicer than it sounds, very clean, green, fresh smell. The Union Jack sleeve is removable, but I left it on as it's brightening up the bathroom, which is done out in grey, black and white mostly.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Suidreams sorry to hear about your fall, I hope you're not in too much pain now and what an awful twit the young lad at work was!!! I hope he feels guilty
Agree the thread seems to be under a black cloud at the moment with a lot of people up against it, what's going on?! The sun is shining here today after torrential rain all day yesterday so hopefully our fortunes will change - fingers crossed.
The communal pamper days sound a great idea, maybe we should bring those back?
I have one small UU - Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream sachet - not too sure yet -have another couple of sachets to use so I can decide along the way. One comment I do have about BB cream in general is they always seem to be darker shades than the colour suggests - this one is pale but still seems fairly dark and the Garnier one was really dark too?!
Have a great weekend everyone - OH and I are currently negotiating on where to go and what to do today

I'm on a bit of an unrelated high - Olympic fever!
We had the big evening celebration in Chelmsford last night that I didn't get home from until about 1am, then I got up at 5.30 to go and see the torch leave through townI got some fab pictures (accidently).

I like the negotiating where to go..... comment, in this house it usually goes along the lines of "what do you want to do", reply "don't know", "Shall we do .....", and we bat this back and forwards for ages, until half the day has gone, this comes from having completely different interests, but trying to spend some time together outside the house (both retired), the one thing that will just about keep him happy, whatever we do is my buying tea/coffee and cakes:rotfl::rotfl:
Have a good weeeknd everyone, whatever the weather.:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0
