    Hello, Indiepanda

    You couldn't have landed n a nicer place :D

I can relate to your buying things to cheer yourself up when faced with stress and difficulty. I've been here since Feb and it has worked wonders :) (I still have an enormous stash of things to use though  I often still feel like a beginner at this as well...)

I think that deep change takes quite a while (using your 'best' things, not stock piling things, not buying each and every special offer and not buying things when stressed) but being here makes that change much easier and far more enjoyable.

    GOOD LUCK!

    Thank you Willowbee.

I have to say it was quite comforting reading the posts detailing some other people's stashes - nice to see I am not alone, and to see that some people have "graduated" having got their stash under control. Hopefully one day we can both can join that group :)

That's good news Willowbee. I hate it when a HG may be trheatened whether because of its company's integrity, change of formula or availability.

Went supermarket shopping this morning. Saw all the magazine freebies and didn't buy a single one.

Have been in Boots as well today and was intending to have a "look" at the Essie polishes but we bumped into MrM's auntie and uncle and so were chatting with them as we passed through Boots so didn't get a chance to look.

:T :T :T for resisting the many tempting magazine freebies. Not many of us have been able to! :rotfl:

I glanced at the Essie stand when I went to Boots and thought 'uh oh!' and didn't allow myself to go near it :rotfl: NV isn't even my main weakness but the colours looked beautiful  (That was the day that I bought the Models Own NV so I can't claim great virtue. I'll just say that it could have been worse if I'd gone near the Essie stand :rotfl: Thankfully I rarely go to Boots in person and I wouldn't order these online so I should be safe :))

I am amazed that Urban Decay changed their mind. It really looked like they were going to push ahead, despite knowing it would anger and upset people. I don't think they were prepared for the massive response though. I'm so glad that I emailed them to tell them what I thought of them! :rotfl:Adding your voice can sometimes make a difference :)

I totally agree with you about it being comforting to see that others are in the same boat, stash wise. The only danger is that you sometimes find out about things you'd really like to try! :rotfl:

I have a TA - Clinique Turn Around 15min treatment. This has brought me out in loads of spots so out it goes. I don't normally have this issue with Clinique products - I have found my skin is fine with their products (well for the most part).

Also my Gum hairspray is almost out too. I have a much needed night out tonight so I am predicting it will be UU then. I will need to restock this as it is my HG and I only have one can left. I will take a look at semi chem tomorrow as they did have it for £1.

OT but I am so excited about my new shoes getting the madien outing tonight :j

I also forgot to say I am replacing my handbag perfum with MontBlanc Presence which I think is the oldest one I have now (under 5 years since purchase).

I did my fake tan again last night I am still raving about this St Moitz - amazing.

I am going to do a french manicure for this evening too. I had better get a move on.

I've had kidney stones and gallstones and they all are horid. Lithotripsy to dissolve the kidney stones is usually a day surgery and is only done as an emergency procedure when it's really urgent. And it hurts like the dickens to pee the first time post-op because you are passing the stone debris. I was in Emerg 2 times in 48 hours and wound up having it as an emergency, I think I amazed and impressed the doctors because of the size of my stones and the fact it was the first time I'd wound up in Emerg.

They don't often dissolve gall stones anymore in my region. Usually they just whip out the gallbladder lapriscopically.

I'm so jealous of the freebies you guys get in the UK. We get nada with our magazines.

have a great weekend. I'm off to bed because I've been on nights for 3 shifts and I'm bagged.

Mingle - poor you, that all sound dreadful.

Willowbee - I am not sure what you are having a problem with but it all sound very frustrating - hope you get it sorted.

For anyone wanting to buy the Urban Decay Naked pallette, MUA have this month launched a pallette called Undressed and it is a complete copy, colour by colour exactly the same and just £4. It had sold out in my SD today but I did look at it yesterday and it looks great. I have the Heaven and Earth one and the quality is amazing for the money.
