Mingle hope you feel better soon and i hope your b**b is not too sore today

Willowbee i feel for you with your medical coming up i have just had one which is really stupid as thay know that i am havig a op next month so why didn't thay just wait till i had it and then ask me to go for a medical. i got my letter back from the medical yesterday and thay have said im on the support group but it looks like i will have to go for another one in a few months as thay have taaken the surgeon literally (sp) as he said it will take AT LEAST 3 months for me to get over it and my letter mentions a date 3 months to the date. there are some really stupid people out there i mean i had major bowel surgery 6 years ago and i still haven't got over that and thay expect me to bounce back after another major bowel surgery in 3 months. sorry for the rant it just gets my back up when there are people out there claiming everything and there's nothing wrong with them getting away with it and then people that are ill have to jump through hoop's
    to get anything.

I'm afraid I'm having another bad day (sorry shouldn't winge) fell on the (non paved) path just outside work. It had been made slick by the heavy rain. I was even wearing sensible foot wear (put walking boots on due to the bad weather. Had quite a hard fall and very sore. I picked myself up to find someone stood a few yards a way laughing at me. He finally asked if I was ok, when I said no he just turned around and went in the back door of the office. So sore bruised and humiliated I'm afraid.

Had to go home and change as trousers covered in dirt. Had a bit of time at home to recover before coming back in in clean clothing. so sat here working feeling rather sore (in both left arm and leg), not been asked to make a full report as yet.

Sorry for the above just felt the need to rant a bit. Hoping for a better day tomorrow (hopefully won't be as sore tomorrow).

Oh poor you, what an unfeeling ******** (insert swear word of your choice here!)

Hot bath, arnica if you have any, and a nice little drinkie later. (((Very gentle hugs)))

Thank you ladies for the kind words- I'm glad I cheered some of you up :)

SuiDreams- what a horrid man!karma will come back and bite him in the bum (i hope). I think you need a good ol' stash pamper tonight.

Can any of the thread veterans remember the communal pamper nights we used to have and then we'd all report on what we'd used/used up?

on a different note,re summer swap how will we know when our gifts arrive if we don't know who we are sending them to(ok that sounds daft) when the name on the elfster page is not the same as what is on here?
Rosemary - I was thinking exactly the same. I posted my box this morning, got wet through in the process. Am relying on the fact that someone will come on here late next week and start raving about what they got :D:D:D

Anyway - did I mention that I got my box at the begining of this week??? Thankyou sos much to my buddy - false eylashes are a hit with me! Also, will be nice to try my first ever lush soap - no idea which one it is, but smells lovely. I'm saving it untill my bathroom gets done in Sept, and it will then be put to good use.

Rain, rain, rain here today......not good. Spent this morning finishing decorating my mums bedroom - new carpet is fitted on Monday, so it really needed to be done. With a weekend of sport ahead, I didn't want to leave it untill Sunday night to sort it for her.

Have pulled pork in the slow cooker and it smells amazing - I want to eat it right now! parents coming for dinner this evening and will watch the tennis if it's still on then.

Suidreams -what goes around come around. Hope that you are OK . Like others have said - Arnica is fab in these situations, hope that you have some. A nice bath/shower later on and a relaxing evening is called for I think.

Willowbee - hope that you are feeling better (and less stressed) today.

Mingle - hope you are not too sore today - and that the kidney's have calmed down for you. That is so painfull, sending hugs.

Between sport and family stuff, I may not be here much this weekend. Hope everyone has a lovely time whatever you are doing.

rosemary54 if you list your items tomorrow it's free :D so you list them at a price you would rather they sold at, rather than risking a gamble

Thank you everyone for the lovely comments. At home again now, so can relax. Still sore, but DH is going to look after me. He's already bought me some chocolate, is at the shop now getting me something to drink, plus he's making me lasagne and chips for tea, then i'm having a soak in the bath later.
