Oh I have just used my QVC voucher and ordered the OPI Minnie Mouse lacquers for Emma. If anyone is interested the kit is brilliant - You get the 4 full sized lacquers in the collection, a bottle of Nail Envy (full size - I'm on my last one so that one's got my name on it), a tube of Avoplex hand cream and a small bottle of nail lacquer remover for £30.00 plus £3.95p&p. My voucher was for £10.00 off so I am really pleased.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Very gentle hugs to the ladies with poorly b**bs.
Day 5, no IN's, not been out today, so will look for Glamour tomorrow.
Worked in garden all day today, before the rain comes, as Rosemary said, so humid it was very tiring (the polite wording)
Rosemary, I remember how it was when OH worked away a lot, but in our case I had to keep quiet, as he was under so much pressure and at the age he was, and bearing in mind we lived in an area of great beauty, but no work, he knew he just had to stick with it. By the time the company closed a few years later he was able to get a good offer and take his pension, cos he could only get part time on minimum wage. Keep your chin up, they say nothing is for ever, not even the bad stuff. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

 Mingle! Poor you! ( again is all I can say! :rotfl:)
(((Hugs))) to Lily - I hope that you are able to prepare well for your op. Hopefully we will be able to cheer you through your long recovery time
Asset - which magazine did you have an article in?! Most intriguing...
SuiDreams - grrrrrr to such mindless vandalism  I hope that you have better internet access tomorrow, though it sounds a bit unlikely
Off topic warning: (I can't help myself...) I had a shocking day. I'm due to have my W*rk C*pability !!!*ssment in a couple of weeks but AT*S phoned me today to tell me that my right to have it recorded has been withdrawn  I was sooooooo upset. Distressed, really. Once I pulled myself together I started writing emails and thanks to an unlikely reponse from a brilliant journalist at The Gu*rdian, I found out that it just isn't true! (She made some phonecalls for me. Amazing. It shows how outrageous it was though...) So, in essence, they phoned me up and lied about my legal rights. I phoned the Head Office and they confirmed that it was nonsense. How am I meant to trust them now? (They've already messed me around a lot). I can't say what I really feel on an open forum but let's just say I feel bullied in the most serious way and that I'm stunned that I've been treated this way. I've got to do follow up tomorrow to find out exactly who phoned me and what the $%** they thought they were doing (my Mum asked to take a message but they insisted I be woken up). :wall::wall: I can't remember when I've been as angry :mad::mad:).
Calm now (:))
(Hope those *s work. :rotfl:)
A UU to report:
Nick Lowe Hydrating Foaming Cleanser. Would I buy again? Nope! I finally had the bright idea to use it up as handwash but it still took ages to finish. :rotfl:Very :money:I suppose, but I found it drying. A shame (I fear I have another one hidden in the Box Under My Bed )
Edited to add - my *s meant that it looked like I was swearing in one word, so A-s-s (of A-s-s-ess-ment) was replaced by !!!, which just looks unreadable :rotfl:0 -
Mingle: !!! Hope you feel better soon!
3 INs from Superdrug today, 1 needed and 2 not.
VO5 Plump Me Up conditioner 500ml: needed as my last conditioner is spluttering and this was half price.
2x Barry M glitter nail paints in Aqua and Magenta. Definitely not needed but they're stunning!0 -

Oh, Willowbee that is so awful, huge hugs.
Thank you. :A It's the biggest worry for me at the moment and this was a bit of a last straw moment. I think I need some chocolate and then an early night, if I can calm my body down
I think I'll go and wash my hair. That always makes things better :rotfl:0 -
Mingle - I am sorry for your pain, but THANKYOU!
I have not laughed that hard in weeks, in fact I brought on an asthma attack!! I'm ok, so no worries there.
Oh, that was just what I needed after the past few months living my life:j:j:j

Back from the gym in one piece
wonder if I'll be feeling so smug tomorrow when I'm aching everywhere!
Willowbee that is shocking! I hope you're not still too upset, good that you channelled your anger productively and found out the truth, some people would have just accepted what they were told to be correct, as you'd expect. Just goes to show...0
