Very gentle hugs to the ladies with poorly b**bs.

Day 5, no IN's, not been out today, so will look for Glamour tomorrow.

Worked in garden all day today, before the rain comes, as Rosemary said, so humid it was very tiring (the polite wording)

Rosemary, I remember how it was when OH worked away a lot, but in our case I had to keep quiet, as he was under so much pressure and at the age he was, and bearing in mind we lived in an area of great beauty, but no work, he knew he just had to stick with it. By the time the company closed a few years later he was able to get a good offer and take his pension, cos he could only get part time on minimum wage. Keep your chin up, they say nothing is for ever, not even the bad stuff.

I have been used to him going away and when the boys were small it was for a couple of weeks at a time to the USA/Japan before the days of mobile phones/emails etc:eek:but had fun writing letters with the boys and just had to get on with it(also childminded and had students so very busy):eek:now I get fed up being home alone and I know it is not good for him either,it has just been worse than normal for the last few weeks and a friend said how ill he was looking:(,I said how tired(polite word!) he was as not only working full time but travelling till late at night and then spending weekends catching up on office work so no "us" time.just makes you wonder when it will end!

I think firms use employees so much these days and everyone is afraid to complain.anyway bath time, think the nails will have to wait now as spent too much time watching telly(anyone see countryhouse rescue this week?awful woman on it no wonder they were going broke:rotfl:)
hugs to all who need them

    (Gentle) hugs to Mingle :)

Hugs to willowbee as well, I'm not surprised you were angry to be dealt with like that. Well done for not taking the mystery phone caller's word for it and standing up for your rights! I hope you manage to get a decent sleep and put the unpleasantness behind you.

We're always here if you need a rant!

Oh and to bring this slightly on topic, stop talking about magazine freebies!!! I am trying my bestest to have no ins this month and I am getting tempted big time! I will be in the corner chanting "Day 5 and no ins, day 5 and no ins ......." :rotfl:

Day 6 is here, good luck, I hope to get to the end and only buy the allowed items, but is a good feeling having established a few no buys.

Pouring down here, but at least not windy atm (my poor plants have taken such a battering)

Hope today is a better day for all.:grouphug:

Your last para pretty much sums up what I was trying to say in my cack handed way. Lots of nurturing thought being sent across the ether for both of you. My nails didn't get done either, but I have just about got the soil out of them:eek:, the hunt for good gardening gloves that don't make my hands sweaty and flare my excema is as difficult as trying to find my HG foundation, I wear something all the time but still end up with dirty nails. Did you remember the steak?:D

Mingle - hope your sore bits have improved today. Poor you with the kidney thing, I have had a kidney infection before and it isn't fun so a stone would be agony I imagine.

Lily - hope your op goes well.

Rosemary - I know you are fed up and i completely understand but maybe trying the oppostite tac would help and if hubby is home this weekend just spend time pampering him, favourite meal, run him a nice bath, lovely breakfast with fresh coffee and the sunday papers, that sort of thing. It might just be what he needs to bring him round a bit and he might feel a bit more like doing some of the things you enjoy. Boo to his company for exploiting the current situation.

Painted my nails last night in one of the Models Own Beetlejuice colours - a coraly, peachy gold - they look so pretty.

Pouring with rain here and is set to be all day, we had thunder and lightning at 8.30am today and I had to take the kids to school in the car (only 10 mins walk) or they would have been wet through all day, the rain was bouncing of the floor. Everyone is so fed up, I am dreading the 6 weeks hols, what on earth am I going to do with them?

yes to the steak,I had to have a smoked salmon starter cos I forgot to eat it for lunhc and the use by date was the 4th:eek:(what am I like?)
I have two nails that have vertical cracks :(have been using jessica lifejacket but find it gives a very rough surface tho as least it stops the nails catching. Also have 1 toe nail that is discoloured and seems thicker than usual(hope you are not eating:rotfl:)Had a go at "Toms" nail file last night and actually found it harder than a straight one to use:rotfl:
it is throwing it down here and am supposed to go and take a returns parcel to the P.O van,if it is busy you have to wait outside:(:(:(:(looks like set in for the day so might just leave it till monday and post on my way to Decleor facial...so looking forward to that:)
DS2 and girl here for the weekend so things should go ok with DH,think we are both so fed up with his work we have actually stopped arguing as seems silly when we only see each other for such a short time, have eamiled him about a possible weekend away(upside of his travels means lots of hotel loyalty points:))

from reading the threads lots of people are having problems at the moment,so glad we can "talk" to each other:)...lots of hugs to Willowbee.

on a different note,re summer swap how will we know when our gifts arrive if we don't know who we are sending them to(ok that sounds daft) when the name on the elfster page is not the same as what is on here?

have just put a load of stuff on fleabay, learnt from last month and made sure postage was enough to cover the cost and put everything on at 99p start. After only allowing me 8 items lkast month they have let me have 9 this month!!!I clicked the link to have that increased and the message comes up we will let you know when this becomes widely available!!!!
going to try and get DH to photo some clothes too this weekend as loss of weight and decideing calf length does not suit me so have a few skirts to sell.

    sorry for long ramble!

3 more outs to report folks. Discovered I still had the receipt for 3 Umberto Giannini curl smoothing balms I bought in a 3 for 2 at Boots. Took them back and got a refund. I still have 1 left. Not sure I'd buy it again. It is light and non greasy but since I've gone back to Brunette I need a lot less anti-frizz lotions. I guess I'll see. Hope you all have a good day!

I'm afraid I'm having another bad day (sorry shouldn't winge) fell on the (non paved) path just outside work. It had been made slick by the heavy rain. I was even wearing sensible foot wear (put walking boots on due to the bad weather. Had quite a hard fall and very sore. I picked myself up to find someone stood a few yards a way laughing at me. He finally asked if I was ok, when I said no he just turned around and went in the back door of the office. So sore bruised and humiliated I'm afraid.

Had to go home and change as trousers covered in dirt. Had a bit of time at home to recover before coming back in in clean clothing. so sat here working feeling rather sore (in both left arm and leg), not been asked to make a full report as yet.

Sorry for the above just felt the need to rant a bit. Hoping for a better day tomorrow (hopefully won't be as sore tomorrow).

I have a non-bought in today. I am product testing a mystery body butter for Tesco. There will be a second one arriving when I complete the survey for this one so it will be going in to use straightaway.

Is this man someone you know at work? If it is and it was me rather horrible things would be happening to him soon. What a pr*t. Get through the afternoon then have a nice bath and large glass of wine, hugs to you.
