Hello ladies- no updates on the toiletries front, but I have an anecdote that may cheer some of you up (sometimes a hug is not enough, only a full on belly laugh will do!).


Ok- I am currently in agony with my kidney ( the doctors think it's a kidney stone) and because the pain is so bad I get really hot and bothered. So I am lying in bed in the buff on my laptop when I decide for the millionth time today that I have to pee and I have to pee NOW. I am getting quite frustrated at this point because I am sick of going to the toilet. In my rage I slam my laptop shut... on my nipple.


It took my mind off the kidney for a second, I tell you! I'm now sat with a hot water bottle on my kidney and an ice pack on my b**b and feeling like an utter t!t

I hope that's amused anyone who needed cheering up

just been sat in the garden(yes the sun is shining here) with a G&T talking for 10 mins to DH who is away again...told him this is not what I got married for!
picked the raspberries (to freeze as so much other stuff to eat) and got bitten(yet again) by a B****y mossie,they are so nasty this year,have a nasty bite on my b**b:eek:too ,think I need to garden in a full body suit:(...sorry nothing to do with toiletries:rotfl:

This was a one-off face mask. I have no idea why it is called a tomato mask as it was a very white mask. My skin felt amazing after leaving it on my skin for 5 minutes. I'd really like to get a hold of more of this.

I hope it's not the end of QVC's relationship with Philosophy although I have noticed that more places are selling it in the UK now. When we are at the Trafford Centre I make a point of going past the concessions in Debenhams, John Lewis and Boots. Even though a lot of QVC's stock seems same old same old they do get exclusives before the stores and do have some lovely gift sets at Christmas time. Am having a bad case of angel/devil on shoulder as I have that voucher code and I've wanted to try the body scrubs for ages but never wanted to pay full price for them.

OUCH! That's made my eyes water! Talking of eyes a work mate of mine was off work earlier in the week because she had scratched her eye on the underwire of her bra that was poking out of the material. Her eye is so swollen. Really feel for her. Of course she has taken some ribbing from other team members.
