Ineed a shampoo for coloured hair (red), but find it really hard. Am coming towards the end o a Tresseme 500ml one, so if you have any recomendations please let me know. The one I really, really love is Aveda - either Shampure or Madder root, but the £25 price tag just seems like a lot. You do get 1litre for that though:) Maybe I should go back to it.........

As a fellow 'fake' redhead - I cannot rave enough about Revlon Nutri Color Creme in shade 600, Fire Red. It tends to come in a tube (100ml) or a 'ball' shaped bottle (250ml).

Its one of those 3 minute leave on treatments.

"The ideal way to give your colour a lift between visits to the salon. Nutri Color Creme restores and maintains moisture, will give powerful instant colour and has a smoothing, anti-static effect."

Apparently! All I know is I get my 'just dyed' colour back for a good 2 washes worth after using it. Warning: Do listen to the bit where it says to wear gloves!!

It obviously reacts with something in the dyed parts of your hair because it has no effect on your roots unfortunately.

    Worth every penny!

dollypop - I love these too!

I am really not trying to encourage any of you to spend but a couple of ladies have mentioned their love for Philosophy so I'll share. Over on the QVC Clearance page there are lots of Philosophy items. Here is a link just in case any of them are HG products or something you're low on in your stashes.

I have another UU to report: mini bottle of OPI Avoplex oil. Probably won't buy again. I want something that is more portable and don't really get on with the Avoplex to Go as the product clogs up in the brush applicator.

Have a lovely evening ladies. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Unfortunately I doubt they stock it - its one of these "salon exclusive" things, I get it online - Amazon and EBay usually have it.

    Hi All,

Went looking for Glamour today just in case and doesn't seem to have hit shelves here early, consoled myself with Red for the cute little REN set, bypassed the nail varnish and mascara on Cosmo and Marie Claire I think it was but was sorely tempted in Morrisons just now by the NEOM handcream on Harpers Bazaar, in my defence I do only have one full sized TBS Almond hand cream on the go which is spluttering and I've now a couple of minis so may go back for that one as stilll MSE. :money:

I also got some shower gel in Morrisons which felt quite weird and illicit as its been ages since I bought any - I have whittled the stash down to one full size in use TBS Strawberry shower gel and a part used S&G Clean on Me (thankfully only a 75ml), not bad as was one of the worst parts of my stash at the beginning, I bought Imperial Leather Blissful Butterfly Lily & Amber shower cream which smells absolutely divine and was a total bargain half price at 97p - thought I'd add this to my holiday stash as a good 250ml size for me and DH to share. I also got an IL Jasmine handwash as we needed some for the bathroom and these were also half price - 70p ish but I won't count that one as an IN as its not a product I ever really stash.

So I guess you could say I've been a little cheeky for the beginning of the month but June was almost no spend and it was all very cost saving so I'm not heading for the naughty step quite yet - I think that must be gathering dust at the minute, we all seem to be being extremely good, there's normally quite a party going on there! :rotfl:

May give myself a bit of a pamper tonight, gym induction tomorrow :eek::eek:

Hope everyone is well, we're more than halfway through the week :D

Hi Scrappie, the one I prefer is L'Oreal's Everpure. It's for coloured hair and has no sulphates in (which tend to strip your hair of colour). The only thing is it's £5.99 for 250ml so works out at almost the same price as the Aveda. I always pick it up when it's on for 3 for 2 though (hence the stash lol).
  • I had NO idea waitrose sells Korres :::I"M NOT LISTENING LALALALALAL:::::: hahahaha Absolutely loves Korres.

To answer some ladies question, yes I have decided what handbag, I'll post photos once I get it. it's coming all the way from australia as it was the cheapest there (who would have thought?).

No I don't need any more hand creams, and I am not going to buy, but you know how that "oooh it might be nice to try that" thought goes through your head:rotfl:

I have had my Clarisonic since March, I mostly use it once a day, sometimes twice, and occasionally not at all, forget and revert to muslin or terry facecloth. My skin is on the dry side of normal, and sensitive, I don't have two much trouble with enlarged pores, I have some fine lines and wrinkles (age 60+), I have used all my usual cleansers, 3 different Elemis, Gatineau and an Almay one, some cream, some foaming, all have worked brilliantly, but all the stuff that came with the Clarisonic is still in the drawer! I suppose I am saying that, luckily, everything that worked OK before works well with the Clarisonic.
My skin tone is better, I only exfoliate about once a week and do not need to use a mask too often now.

    Hi all!

    One UU and one IN:

UU: Mitchum deoderant stick. WIBA? Yes - it's very good. Am to figure out if I might have got to the end of my current supply. I can't see one lurking anywhere, so that's a pretty good indicator that I have.

IN: Baptiste Dry Shampoo (original): £1.99 at Aldi. I'm at the end of my last one, so I'm not going to count this in my stash list, but since it's new I'll list it so I don't start getting into bad habits.

And now a little whinge: I've got to turn my bedroom into a tidy palace and do a lot of homework before I go to bed, but I'm do tired I just want to curl up into a ball and sleep until morning. (Sorry to inflict that on you all, but I had to say it somewhere before I exploded!)

Ah well, on with it, I guess...

  • ^^Love the clarisonic. I could never live without mine lol

So I got too excited and forgot the UU of the day:

Estee Lauder idealist pore minimizer skin refinisher sample - this product actually lasted me 3 days, and it is by far the best product for my combination skin out of all the EL samples that I have tried this month. It has a fresh scent, went on smoothly and really made my skin feel hydrated. Whether it minimized my pores, who knows.
