No buying unecessray toiletries in July

I have also added another item to the ever fluctuating giveaway bag (which will be leaving this evening) Avon Liquid Spray Wax for hair. This is half full but I am fed up with it as I have already used one full one and it just doesn't give my hair any bounce. So I am going back to my Pantene volumising mousse.

Thank you Dolly, when I go to a bigger town I will look out for this, if I can get a fragrance that is not to girly, if it doesn't work for me I can kindly put it in OH's shower room (or read palm it off onto him:rotfl:)

I would love to see friend's DD's face when she gets the goodie bag, I hope she will be delighted.

for once northern rails complete incompetence at running trains and a station worked in my favour! train was late so i literally pulled just as my connection left so I had 6 mins til the next. ran to smiths to buy red and they'd put out all the mags with freebies inc the ones that are supposed to be out tomorrow! :j

Again nothing doing on the UUs. I am on mostly all full size products. I think I am gonna find a perfume sample to use for a quick feel good buzz.

bought RED and got the ren goodies to put away for my hols,also saw GH mag so got that as well and saw sub offers in both of them so am now thinking of taking them out! oh dear not quite what I should be doing:rotfl:

True but then I always think about the free gift I could be missing out on. I guess the solution would be to not look for them in the first place!!

I haven't done well today. Went out with Mum who wanted to look in House of Fraser as she got a message from O2 saying something about a free Decleor gift. They don't do Decleor in the HOF we went in but she's a bad influence and "made" me buy some Clinique stuff.:p Haven't tried it before so got one of the trial packs and got a couple of free gifts. BUT I did give her a couple of my 10ml L'Occitane bits as she paid for lunch! I also got some testers I ordered last week from LIB which is technically before I started the challenge!

Another UU to report - 400ml bottle of pantene repair and protect shampoo. WIBA? I already have 3 400ml bottles in my stash and once those are gone I might buy it again I'm not sure. It's a good shampoo but really I need a shampoo for coloured hair.

My Aussie conditioner is due to be finished soon too. Probably got 1-2 uses left in it.

It's great - after 10 outs I can see some room developing in my toiletries cupboard. I haven't seen any space in there for many moons and it's a good feeling.

I did received a LiB sample box today with some TRESemme samples, a Sasy and Savy hand and nail repair creme (not heard of this before) and some Elemental Herbology cell food. I'm going to have fun giving these a go.

Just curious - how old are some of the products you use? I have an Origins Charcoal Face Mask I have had for about 12 years! :eek: I got it free on a plane as the tv wasn't working but I only used it once. Wasn't really bothered about face masks back then and it's been languishing in my drawer ever since. Do you think it would be safe to use still?

Mine vary hugely in date but I've never had a problem with anything going off except for the S&G hand food which basically separated and smelt awful. I'm not a believer in use before dates!
