30mls of PCMC lasts me 3 months. I remember now that the tubes were 15mls so I must have acquired *ahem* 16 tubes! I remember that I bought quite a few copies myself. At the time MrM was working away and he drove around to a few different Tesco stores to buy me more. I realise this sounds quite bad - as if I had a serious addiction - but it was such a moneysaver! He didn't mind as it was his money that would be saved as he didn't have to buy me an Elemis TSV for a while! I keep dreaming that Elemis would run this offer again.Just remembered Q** have offered a £10 off a purchase over £30 in July, I must check out the L'Occ liquid soap there before I buy anywhere else
Good luck to everyone trying for a no spend month.
Hello to all the newbies - we do seem to jave a lot of people joining us this month. Word must have got out that we are a lovely bunch on here:D:D:D
Got my 'swap' sorted, but still in need of a box.........going to go to mums tomorrow and see what she has.
Have bought my new bathroom, gets delivered at the end of the month - they wanted to deliver this week, but with all that is going on with mum I managed to put them off for a few weeks. The builders are also sorted - they are coming in when I'm on holiday. So when I get home I will have a shiney new shower room :j:j:j:j

I had the 4EP offer a while back, bought my Clarisonic, love it, so grateful for the offer then.
Great news on bathroom and the builders, it will be great for you.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
I'm not sure how much the liquid soap normally is but the large eco pack duos are in the L'Occ sale at the moment. The free delivery over £40 has gone
but 'sale12' will take a further 10% off your order (until the 5th, I think, but I can't find the leaflet). You can choose 2 sample sachets as well when you checkout. (£21.60 for 1000ml of lavender, verbena or sweet almond oil + £3.95 p&p)
Wil xx
Thanks, I will check it out in the morning.
Night night, hope you sleep well tonight. xxThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

The L'Occitane shop at Cheshire Oaks had some fabulous offers on the liquid soap last Sunday. I can't remember the pricing but they were selling multiples of the eco pouches on a really good deal. Are you anywhere near there?
I got that offer from Q as well. I noticed that Minnie Mouse logo on the OPI advertisement as well so am hoping they have a decent set of those lacquers as I said I would treat Emma to them as part of her birthday gift next month.
Gonna go now. Goodnight everyone. x
Thanks, but too far away. I hope the OPI MM is the one Emma would like. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

Did you use it all up?? At least it doesn't seem to go off...
I've got 2 left in the stash I think (unless more are hiding somewhere!) but I've given 3 away! My current obsession for shower gels is Philosophy but at least they come in different fragrances for variety
Does anyone know which REN products are with Red magazine? Might try and get my hands on a copy...........0 -
Thanks Kiplingmonkey for starting July's thread. I will continue with the challenge. I don't post a lot on here but I enjoy reading yours. Welcome to all newbies, it's great to have you on board.
I am not planning on buying anything this month apart from a couple of magazines to get freebies.
2 UU's to report:
Sanctuary Moisture lotion Spf 15, I wont buy again. It irritated my skin so was used up as a hand cream.
Decleor Essential balm, lovely smell and nothing more so wont buy again. No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j0 -
tokkiandoliver - I've got a mini of the Diorshow Iconic that i really like that doesn't give me panda eyes. i just wish it wasn't so bl**dy expensive!
VALM - yes it is! I've been leaving it in a sink full of hot tap water while i go in the shower or putting it in the bath with me and its been liquid when i got out. i must admit i had a few times where i forgot beforehand that i was going to try and use it and ended up getting out, seeing it was still solid and just giving up :rotfl:
well, my laura mercier tinted moisturiser is turning into a real LHJ. its been at that "there cant be MORE, surely?" stage for at least a month now  although, i suppose it is justifying the £32 price tag a bit more :eek:0 -
My first UU of the month: l'Occitane Verbena Shampoo.
WIBA? It smells great*, but just doesn't do it for my fussy hair (hair which is so fussy I've currently got it wrapped in a towel with handfulls of hair mask on, praying it might turn out somewhere near normal when it's all rinsed out)!
*I have a big pump bottle of the shower gel sat in my stash drawer, which I am saving as a special treat for the first shower gel I use in my new place, as I'm moving out soon. And some soap for my bathroom. Please call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???

Proud to be dealing with her debts 1198~

VALM showing my age in remembering, but wasn't it Remington that Victor Kiam bought?
Two Non Bought Ins. One a tiny sachet of Estee Lauder Perfectionist (CP+R)* serum that was free with August's Easy Living (August? It's only July 4th, just!) WIB? No, it's very, very heavy and greasy.
*What sort of pseudo-scientific babble is that, putting a mathematical formula in the name of the product? Sheesh.
The other NBI (new acronym anyone?) was a raffle prize this evening - a 15 ml bottle of Obsession eau de toilette spray, deffo unused as it was in a sealed plastic pack.
It says 'For Men' but stuff that, it's a gorgeous smell and I'm wearing it (My normal perfume is CK One, so you get the drift. I'm hetero, I just like more masculine smells.).Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
