I am so happy right now. I had 3 boxes of products under the bed and i know that I will never use them so I didn't bother listing them in my stash list. Well I have sold them all!!! I think there were 75 items in total !!! So not only do i get to clear out, but I can now put that money onto my handbag purchase as I have officially reached over 400 UU's. :):)
Oh happy sunny day :)

That's great well done:T

I'm going to be really good this month and not buy anymore glamour mags for the balance me freebies, I got the eye cream in my subscription copy and the skincare ones are for a different skin type to me so going to be good and save my money.

I've been a long term S&G fan, ever since it was first launched which led to a serious stockpile! At one point I had 11 500ml bottles of Clean on me!! As well as body butters, hand creams etc I think I've seriously overdosed on the stuff as I can't face using it anymore :rotfl:

Actually I think this me. I got caught up in all the hype when Theresa's a Boots thread on the Grabbit board (how long ago was that???) and there were lots of offers I remember buying a set that was the 500ml clean on me and large tub of righteous butter for £4 (75% off from £16) - think that's was the start of my stockpile. I had almost dozens of the boxes which were pretty awkward to carry on public transport in fact u still have at least 6 full sets in store:o:T oops

Woo hoo I has a UU

Sure deo stick - WMBA if on offer but I'm back to my HG Mitchem stick now :)

Well I've had my Clarisonic a week now and have been using it once a day in the evening and sometimes in the morning too (depending on how sensitive my face feels). And how sensitive my face feels seems to depend on which product I've used with the clarisonic the evening before :o

So far I've tried the following with varying degrees of success:-
a) the face wash that came with the Clarisonic (face hates this)
b) Good skin all calm creamy cleanser (also hates this)
c) SD vitamin E hot cloth cleanser (this is so so with clarisonic but fine if used as it is intended)
d) Mr B's Botanics organic face soothing cleansing balm (face loves this with or without the clarisonic so think it will become my HG)
e) Clarins Gentle foaming cleanser with shea butter ( bizarrely I couldn't use this last time I dug it out of my stash but with the clarisonic ....well so far so good :))

I've a few other face washes and cleansers in my stash to try with it but I don't want too many products open at once;)

.........which got me to wondering which products you ladies with a clarisonic would rate for use with it??? (and as a guide what skin type you have:D)

Whilst out and about today a Red magazine fell into my basket - but that's not a toiletry purchase :D and I've been in TK Maxx and Mr B's...had a really good mooch but bought nowt - good eh???:eek::eek::eek: - think DH is in shock:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

bunnykins x
:naughty: Save money on toiletries: no new/duplicate items until I've used up all existing supplies

Well done!! :T:T:T

That is a fabulous start

The feeling of space/paring down is the best :D I have dreams of being an elegant woman with a small collection of HG toiletries/make up and no more clutter :rotfl:

Thankyou Willowbee. Yes getting rid of the clutter is great - so liberating. I would love to be that elegant woman too!

Another UU to report. Just dyed my hair - used two boxes of dye as it's very long and thick. So that's only four boxes of hair dye left in my mammoth hair care stash lol.

Well done tokkiandoliver! Fabulous! Where did you sell your products? You're really going to enjoy that handbag when you get it - you've really earned it.

My current obsession for shower gels is Philosophy but at least they come in different fragrances for variety :D

dollypop - I love these too!

I too am a one-time S&G worshipper who's overindulged and now dreads the sight of most of the stuff
emsjune - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Argghhhhh despair, I have booked a Clarins beauty event for when they have the freebie gifts again! Need a bottle of Eau de Jardins but not a second product, I have £30 in John Lewis vouchers so enough for the perfume but not for a second product. What do I do?
caterina - I smell trouble ahead!
I always get tempted by free gifts and made the mistake of looking for discount codes and found some codes for a couple of "free" gifts. I always think "Oh if I spend £35 then I'll get a free gift worth £20 and then if I spend another £24 I'll get free delivery which saves me £3.95" Hmmmm!
she's a bad influence and "made" me buy
melh - somehow I don't think you are on your own here!!

Mum's are like that - sometimes they can be 'evil' in their powers of persuasion:D Mine does it all the time - although she does seem to suggest I buy things for her, not for me.....?

It's a good shampoo but really I need a shampoo for coloured hair.

Pippin - Ineed a shampoo for coloured hair (red), but find it really hard. Am coming towards the end o a Tresseme 500ml one, so if you have any recomendations please let me know. The one I really, really love is Aveda - either Shampure or Madder root, but the £25 price tag just seems like a lot. You do get 1litre for that though:) Maybe I should go back to it.........

I am feeling very proud of myself after this weekend, lots of gorgeous shops where I went and I came home with nothing. This has to be a first!
Tater - it's amazing just how good that feels isn't it?? You walk around feeling all superior for a while.
I have a mini success to report - I went out (hurrah!) and the only toiletry-related thing that I bought was a copy of Red. I had a slight wobble in Waitrose as Korres shower gel was on 3-for-2 but I resisted. I feel really good :D
I'm hoping for at least one UU later but I've been thinking it would die over the last few days but it just keeps going! :wall:
Willowbee - I think the word I'm looking for is
progress!! Yey:D
I have had the same feeling about my shampoo for several days. Sooo :mad::mad:

tokkiandoliver - that's great - well done you! Have you decided which handbag ?

bunnykins - well done for resisting.

So today - no toiletries bought by me today (so far)! Did however buy and pant a small tree - to replace one I had to have removed form the garden last week.

While looking for a box last night to send my 'summer swap' in, I found 2 PCMC, under my bed:D:D They were in a bag with 2x lime and ginger showe gel and body lotion. clearly a QVC promo that I had forgotten about. Also 'found' two LG B&B - I didn't realise I had any left in my stash. so happy about this. Have put one in m y 'holiday bag' so that I know I have one to take away and don't have to stress over that.

Now - I must send a HUGE thankyou to my sun swap buddy. My box of tricks arrived today. I love it. It was soooooo exciting opening everything:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

I will be posting out to my buddy on Friday - so hope you like what I have put in there for you.

Almost forgot - 2 UU last night 15ml tubes papya enzyme peel and exotic cream moisture mask. WBA - but no need to do so at the moment. £2 added to my pot.

Valm - I remember that offer too, did the same as you. Think the man on the till at WHSmith thought I was mad when I geve hime 10 copies of the same mag to scan!!! Oh if they ever run that again.........

Have bought my new bathroom, gets delivered at the end of the month - they wanted to deliver this week, but with all that is going on with mum I managed to put them off for a few weeks. The builders are also sorted - they are coming in when I'm on holiday. So when I get home I will have a shiney new shower room :j:j:j:j

I think I made some lame excuse at the till about the extra copies being for "friends". How sad is that?

How exciting about your new bathroom! Enjoy it when it's finished.

I've got 2 left in the stash I think (unless more are hiding somewhere!) but I've given 3 away! My current obsession for shower gels is Philosophy but at least they come in different fragrances for variety :D

Oh yes, I love Philosophy as well. My favourites though unfortunately at ones that have been limited editions - Fresh Cream (I got this in one of the Cookbook sets a couple of years ago) and Pumpkin Spiced Muffin which was revamped recently as Harvest Spice. I'm hoping they bring this one back out this Autumn. I also love the Grace shower gels. The only ones that I've tried that I haven't liked have been the red coloured ones Red Velvet Cake and Cinnamon Dots and I had one last year that was called Aglow which looked like Lucozade.
VALM showing my age in remembering, but wasn't it Remington that Victor Kiam bought?

That's it, thank you. It was really bugging me as to which company he bought!

Well done on avoiding the Korres purchase Willowbee. I'm glad I can't get to a Waitrose as I've tried Korres before and loved the products that I used.

Feeling virtuous atm, went into town and resisted Red Magazine, reasoned that whilst great freebie, I have a drawerful of high end skin care calling for me to use it, having gone all through it yesterday helped. (Feel brow - must be sickening for something:rotfl:)

I did determine that a local gift shop carries a reasonable range of L'Occitane, so I can just buy 1 eco-refill there for £12 if I so decide.

So Day 4 NO SPEND, hope Glamour is in town tomorrow, ears pricked up at mention of Neom freebies, so just counted handcream stash,:eek::eek::eek::eek: 18 bottles and tubes, 12 of them full size and 7 in use between handbag, knitting bag, camper, kit, bathroom and bedroom etc.:o

In my defence, I garden and knit and people know I hate hands being rough, so i is an easy present to give me, one friend gave me 3 last year alone.

Well done maddiemay. Do you really need more handcream though? Just out of interest *ahem* how good are the Neom ones? Is the freebie just for hand creams or anything else?
