Thanks for the comments re:work, I'm hoping tomorrow is better, but IT didn't think it was likely apparently BT have a lot of cable to replace. Something similar happened at the end of May, but there wasn't as much damage. Apparently the police had been to look at it this morning, if the details I've been told about what happened is true its really shocking what people do.

Mingle - OWWW! I bet that brought a tear to your eye lol!

Willowbee - Atos are just shocking - truly they are. They were obviously just trying to pull a fast one there. I'm really glad you didn't let them get away with it. When is your assessment taking place? I'm dreading the time I get called in...

I agree with you Willowbee in that the mag buying for freebies is a very :money: way of trying new things. I also think it's a good way to stock up on HG products. Why not? It's still :money: Some years ago Instyle mag was giving away 25ml tubes of Elemis PCMC which is my HG. I bought enough of them to stockpile it for 2 years. Even though this was during my pre-MSE Challenge days I'd do it all over again.

I remember that offer - think I bought about 6 copies of the mag for that one as it was sooo:money:

This comment made me smile. Reminded me of Victor Kiam's claim that he loved the product so much he bought the company. Can't for the life of me remember what the product was, was it a razor?
VALM showing my age in remembering, but wasn't it Remington that Victor Kiam bought?

Ha ha - we are all showing our age now!

Need to confess my INs (all mag freebies):
    Balance Me
    Balancing face moisturiser
    Pure skin face wash
    Rose otto intensive lip salve
    Wonder eye cream

Have wanted to try some things from this brand so an £8 outlay for £45 worth of product seemed quite good to me.

    Ren
Vetiver v7 hand and body cream
    Active 7 radiant eye gel
Hydra calm global protection day cream

I am desperately trying to catch up with all the posts. I have a v busy week this week so may have to try to do it in stages. Great that there is so much activity on the thread this month - it was quiet last month. Off to read some more...

Phew - have just caught up - hugs to all who need them - Willowbee, Lily1972

Mingle - thanks for sharing - sounds painful...but made us all smile :D

    Have another UU:

Boots botanics body butter - I really like this - it is moisturising, doesn't have an overpowering smell and basically does the job at quite a reasonable price. I got this ages ago when Boots had a £5 voucher off Botanics (think my youngest was a baby and she is 7 now ). I will be looking at this range when I need to buy more body lotion/butter which won't be for a while yet. I have a BS mango body butter magazine freebie which is almost empty so going to UU that next.

    (Gentle) hugs to Mingle :)

Hugs to willowbee as well, I'm not surprised you were angry to be dealt with like that. Well done for not taking the mystery phone caller's word for it and standing up for your rights! I hope you manage to get a decent sleep and put the unpleasantness behind you.

We're always here if you need a rant!

Oh and to bring this slightly on topic, stop talking about magazine freebies!!! I am trying my bestest to have no ins this month and I am getting tempted big time! I will be in the corner chanting "Day 5 and no ins, day 5 and no ins ......." :rotfl:
No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
    35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins

    evening all,

    welcome to all newbies :hello:

uu - Max Benjamin White Pomegranate body lotion, absolutely loved using this, it smells divine and is also a really good moisturising lotion, it's paraben and sulphate free as well, I would definitely buy again but I have 20  more body creams/lotions to work through so it may be some time before I can buy anything else

also uu simple foaming facewash - does the job, it leaves my skin feeling lovely and clean, and it's cheap, wba

I have got carried away with the magazine freebies - so ins
    -
    REN set from Red mag
    Balance me facewash
Balance me eye cream (came with subscription copy)
St Tropez gradual tan free with Elle

    happy pampering, xo
