hugs to those in need. i woke up feeling tired this morning, one of those days when its hard to lift your head up!!! working today (on my day off :() but hey. weightwatchers tonihgt, though i've been away for the weekend so i'm not convinced i'll have lost.

pauliesgirl and rzl - sadly i guess, the church is somewhere open to all people, some of whom won't be as honest as others! we had our laptop stolen at church a couple of years ago and two bags were nicked recently, opportunistic thieves unfortunatley!! the other week some local kids who we're just starting to work with came in and our collection disappeared!! hehe.

Hi everyone, wild and windy here, getting a bit fed up of chasing the bins down the path and can I knickers find the chain I usually use to fasten them up with. Downside of course is I've stopped using bin bags to save on waste so if they tip it'll take some cleaning up

Soba happy birthday, hope you have a lovely day.

Have had a chat with DP, will talk more later. Dining table now built, will have to go get the chairs from the car in a mo and get them built (they've been in the car for 5 days as no place to store them) I need a table cloth so might have a scout around charity shops later for one, if I have time.

Have left a message for tutor to contact me, we're still waiting for some of the course materials and can't complete the overdue assignment from last month and the one that is due. Extremely frustrating!

Right best dash, hugs to those who need one, hope everyone has a good day
One day I might be more organised...........

Hugs and warm thoughts to you all:grouphug:. It is SO cold here, brrrrr... I have just emerged from my bed, where I have been for the past 48 hours with a very sore throat/cold/cough YUK. I am not usually ill but his time my immune system is obviously somewhere else.

Therefore my weekend is not really worth mentioning, just excessive amounts of sleep and self pity. Wishing you all a good start for the week, my DH cleaned the house yesterday so I will not do anything at all today (hurrah). Even the children are being dropped off by my BIL, nice to see how many people are willing to help when you are feeling really c...p.

    Hello folks :)

Windy here in West London too, and quite cold although sunny. I have the heating on and off but very low just to take off the chill, as I prefer to wear a light fleece and just retain body warmth - healthier and saves money. ;)

Anyway I kept warm enough this morning as I started spring cleaning - I have two days off and want to get that done. My flat is small and all it will take is another few hours, so I'm enjoying a rest now.

I have spent no money on food in the last couple of days as I want to use up everything I have at the moment: pasta, rice, other dried stuff. All I need is fresh milk.

Stay warm you lot, and have a good day! :j
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

I think a lot of us have days like this

All I have done this morning is bake:
two lots of sourdough bread now on their second rise
    a date and walnut loaf
a big tray of energy bars ready to bake

I have had my lunch. Hm soup and hm wholemeal bread and a pear

and I`m still feeling tired even though I slept well last night

so now I think I`ll give in and read a book after I have prepared the veggies for our evening meal

How do you cope when you have an off day?

    Happy Birthday Soba
Not been on all weekend I seem to have had a weekend of rushing around and not achieved much at all, I get really cross with myself if that happens as I look forward to the weekend as soon as I get to work monday and I seem to have wasted it. Enough of me moaning!
DD3 has asked if her BF can come to tea they are only 14 so I hope he likes toad in the hole.
Payday on friday so I need to spend the evening planning my meals and ordering a big shop from Mr T for then, so I can keep on top of my budget so an exciting evening ahead for me!

Afternoon........not sure where the morning has gone Son in law came with my flowers for yesterday. He was away for the weekend playing golf, apparently when he got back he was shivering with cold,DD would not leave him to come up here....sounds like he was in the early stages of hypothermia........

I have caved in and asked the removers to pack as well as transport the stuff we have. I am so stressed by the whole thing and I think, although he has not said anything that OH is also feeling it. I am so angry with his son for putting him through this. My OD is not going to look good for a while, although the cash we have made from sales of various bits and pieces will help......it will still take us 12 months to clear the OD though.

Its a bright day but freezing, I did a small delicate wash this morning and its on the line, will fetch it in shortly as it getting a bit black over Bill's mothers. We have a trip to the Age Concern charity shop to off load the last of the bits left from the boot sale.

I did sleep better last night, but I am still shattered......may have a bit of a snooze when we get back.

Happy birthday to anyone who has a birthday and (((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) to anyone who needs one, Moggins hope you get on ok with your various visits.
